Writer's Journey Videos are collectibles available in Alan Wake 2 when you play as Alan. In order to collect them, you must find the TV sets placed somewhere in the Dark Place on which one of the videos will be played. In the lower left corner of the screen you should then notice a videotape with the name of the video being played.
Once you watch eight Writer's Journey videos, you will unlock "The Trail of the Writer" achievement / trophy.
