Quest Group: Side Missions
Type: Hamish's Request
This mission can be started by interacting with a laptop in the Safehouse. This will be possible once you have progressed in the main storyline of the game, met Hamish, etc.
A journalist was working on a story about SIRS arresting people without charges, and now they’ve gone missing. It might be a coincidence, but let’s be honest here. This is SIRS.
Bagley dug up the journalist’s last known location. Investigate the area and find out what happened.
Go to Furzton Tower Block. When you arrive at the game site three objects will be marked, which you will have to photograph. If you want to avoid a fight, it is best to use a Clan Kelley operative.
The first object, the car, or rather the wheel tracks, you can photograph while still outside the restricted area.
Another object is a tablet lying on a bench.
The last target will be the security camera.
The terminal from which you can download the footage is located by the wall of one of the buildings.
A journalist was working on a story about SIRS arresting people without charges, and then found themselves spirited away to a blacksite by SIRS. They probably should have seen that coming.
Get into the blacksite and save the journalist.
Leave the restricted area and go to Albion Internment Centre, where the journalist is being held. The journalist is locked in a cage located in the main building. To open the cage you must interact with the closed circuit terminal.
You will have to enter the building yourself to set the journalist free, but you can use the spiderbot to unlock the cage door. The simplest way to get the spiderbot inside is to use a ventilation duct. The other end is near the cage with the journalist.
There is also a staircase that will take you to the upper level where the closed circuit terminal is located.
To complete the task without raising an alarm, use an operative who was a member of Albion and enter the restricted area through the opening in the fence on the east side of the restricted area.
Silently get rid of the guard patrolling the area.
And the best is to interact with the closed circuit terminal to unlock the gate, because this is the way you will evacuate together with the freed journalist (and if something goes wrong, you won't have to waste time on it during your escape).
Once you have done this, enter the building through the door. Pay particular attention to the drone patrolling the interior of the hall. It is moving around in a clockwise direction.
When its safe, quickly go down the stairs, enter the cage and set the journalist free.
Leave the building the same way you came here and leave the restricted area through the gate. The journalist will follow you.
DedSec stumbled onto a journalist investigating an illegal SIRS kidnapping program. They’ve saved the journalist from captivity at a SIRS blacksite, but the journalist might still know more about the program itself. Talk to the journalist to see what they know about the SIRS kidnappings.
To complete this mission, talk to the freed journalist.
After completing this mission, you will be able to play the mission Parks and Reclamation.
