Rapidium Deposits are rare resources in The Alters that appear as fuzzy, distorted areas. Rapidium is used for creating Alters, building Rapidium Arks, and minor Workshop crafting.
Rapidium Deposits come in two types:
- Shallow Deposits - These can be harvested by hand once for a limited amount. Found through exploration, they deplete after a single use.
- Deep Deposits - These require a Polygonal Scanner to pinpoint the richest concentration, followed by placing a Mining Outpost and connecting it to the base with Pylons. Deep deposits provide an infinite supply of Rapidium but require manual operation or assigning an Alter to automate the process.
