Minerals Deposits, The Alters Points of interest

In The Alters, Mineral Deposits are critical resource nodes used to harvest Minerals, an essential resource for crafting advanced items, constructing key base modules, and upgrading equipment.

Mineral Deposits come in two types:

• Shallow Deposits - Identified by their metallic sheen and crystalline structures, these can be mined by hand for a limited yield. Found during exploration, they are depleted after a single use.
• Deep Deposits - These require a Polygonial Scanner to locate the densest concentrations, followed by placing a Mining Outpost and connecting it to the base with Pylons. Deep Deposits provide an infinite supply of Minerals but require manual operation or assigning an Alter to automate the process.
