Group: Main Quests
Planet: Toshara
This main quest starts automatically after you complete the previous main quest, which is "False Flag". Whether you framed Crimson Dawn or Pykes in the previous quest makes no difference. Waka will contact you by radio regarding the next part needed to restore your ship to full operation, repair its hyperdrive.
Waka has a potential lead on a nav computer for the Trailblazer and wants to meet to discuss it.
Prior quests
To begin The Wreck you must first complete False Flag.
Quest stages of The Wreck
1. Find the mechanic and upgrade the speeder / Check the Abilities menu for clues.
Before you can talk to Waka it will be necessary to upgrade your speeder. To do this, you need to unlock Selo Rovak as an expert. To do this, you must complete the intel chain: "The Speeder Mechanic #1: Boosting the Speeder", "The Speeder Mechanic #2: Selo's People" and "The Speeder Mechanic #3: Selo's Shop" and then the expert quest "The Mechanic".
2. Talk to Waka.
Waka is waiting for you at a small bar in Mirogana market. Waka will give you instructions on what you need to get and where to look for it.
Waka has found a nav computer that will get the Trailblazer ready for hyperspace travel. The nav computer is located in a High Republic shipwreck.
3. Steal a class eleven power core.
The item you are looking for - class eleven power core - is located within the Imperial Comm Station area. Start by approaching the base from the southwest.
At its southwest corner you will notice a passage located between the rocks by which you can get to the area west of the fortress walls. Sneak over there.
The area west of the walls is patrolled by two flying droids. One patrols the area on a north-south axis, the other on an east-west axis.
To get around the first one, jump into the pit below the grappling hook, you will be safe there, and wait until the droid moves to the south. Then climb up the wall and jump to the other side using the grappling point.
You now need to go through the passage to the west. You can as well try to pass the second droid by hiding somewhere on the side and waiting for it to move east, but a simpler solution is to use the Ion mode of your blaster. A few shots and the droid will be grounded without raising an alarm.
Continue along the cliff to the north, climb up the rocks and after a while you will reach a rock shelf from which you can, using the grappling point, get to the base area.
The area is guarded by three stormtroopers. First get rid of the one that walks around.
Then, using the stun mode, eliminate the one standing against the wall.
You don't have to kill the one who is watching the area outside the walls. Through the hole in the floor, slide down the rope to the interior of the base.
Eliminate the two technicians standing by the locked door.
Approach the room at the side and order Nix to press the button that opens the door.
Go inside and take the power core.
4. Reach the old shipwreck.
Leave the base by the same route you took to get here.
Once you are on the rocks outside the base you should already be able to use the fast travel option. Jaunta's Hope is closest to the place you need to go now.
At the location marked on your map you will find a tunnel that you will only be able to enter if you use the boost mode of your speeder.
Follow the tunnel until you reach a closed door. Waka will instruct you what you need to do. Install the power core, switch your blaster to Ion module and then shoot the capacitor above.
On the other side of the door, a breathtaking view awaits you :-)
Climb up the rocks to the right of the waterfall, hook up to the grappling point and pull yourself up.
Use another grappling point and swing to the metal grate opposite you. Climb to the right and drop on the small metal platform. Use one more grappling point and swing to the rocky shelf a little further to the right.
Cross the narrow passage between the pipes.
Jump over gaps and climb walls higher. Another grappling point will allow you to swing to a large ruined jet engine overgrown with vines.
Slide down on the other side and move forward. The floor will collapse under you and you will fall to the inside the shipwreck.
5. Find a way to the bridge.
Move forward, then use the grapple point to swing over to the metal grate. Climb over it and the handles to the right to the hole on the other side.
Walk up the ramp to the platform with a slightly open door.
Switch to the Ion module and shoot the capacitor. The door will open and you will be able to move on.
Jump over the gap and climb higher.
To open the door shoot both capacitors.
Keep walking and after a while you will reach the reactor room. You must now get to the other side of the room. Start by getting to the one of the platforms above. You'll do this by climbing up the wall and the handholds on the right.
Then walk across the platforms to the other side. At some point, one of the platforms will collapse and in order not to fall from a great height you will have to make a jump.
Then jump over the reactor elements and use the handles sticking out of the walls to get to the other side.
Use the grapple point in front of you and slide down. You will reach the destroyed command room. Kay will conclude that to reach the bridge it will be necessary to restore power in the reactor.
6. Restore power to the reactor.
Proceed to the next room where you will find another grappling point. Use it and slide down and then step into the reactor room.
In the room with the reactor, walk along the footbridge to the right and then turn left and move forward. When you do so, the footbridge will collapse causing Kay to safely slide down to the level below.
Turn left, and walk along the railing until you reach the grappling point. Use this point and slide down to the base of the reactor.
Use the first lever located by the reactor to turn power on.
A ladder will extend on the right, which you can climb to the platform above. Then follow the platform to the right and up until you reach the computer terminal. Access it.
The reactor will activate, revealing a series of ledges that you can climb on. Note that some of them open and close periodically. Of course, you can climb over them only when they are open. Using these ledges and the metal grates on the ends, climb to the top of the reactor.
At the top of the reactor you'll find the last lever. Switch it.
7. Find a way to the bridge.
To the right, a small platform will slide out, allowing you to jump onto a walkway leading to a door that will open in the corner of the room.
Enter the elevator, which will take you to a higher floor and proceed to the next room. Approach the terminal and use it. This will open a door nearby and you will be able to move on.
Continue ahead, use the anchor point and leap over the gap.
After a while you will reach the room you were in before. The door that was previously closed will now be open.
Pass through the hole in the wall to your left.
When you enter a room with two lifts, switch your blaster to Ion module and shoot the capacitor located on the wall next to the right lift. The right elevator will go down and you will be able to step onto it. Do this and shoot the same capacitor again. Then the elevator will move back up.
Jump onto the second lift and shoot the capacitor located in the wall next to it. The elevator will move, carrying you higher up.
Jump to the other side of the room.
Wait for the two panels sliding out of the wall to eject, then run past them as soon as they start to retract.
Climb up the wall to the platform above. Now you have to jump over two sliding panels to the other side. As soon as they slide out, jump onto the first one, then onto the second one and finally onto the grippable wall located on the other side.
Climb up to the opening above. Keep moving forward, go through another door and through a narrow passage between rocks.
Turn right, when you go through the door at the end of the corridor you will finally reach the bridge.
8. Find the nav computer.
When you finally reach the bridge, approach the central console and investigate it. You wont be able to take the nav computer, as authorization is required.
Move to the other side of the console, interact with the terminal located there and grant yourself an authorisation. When you do so, two Zerek Besh agents will enter the room.
9. Defeat the attackers.
When Zerek Besh warriors enter the room they won't notice you at once, but they will start searching the room. They are tough and killing them will be more difficult, especially at higher difficulty levels. They are immune to stealth attacks. They can throw smoke grenades and vanish and teleport. The best way to deal as much damage as possible to them is to shoot exploding barrels when they are near them.
10. Retrieve the nav computer.
Note: You now have one last chance to explore the room, collect loot, etc. as there will be no time to do so when you retrieve the nav computer.
When you are ready, approach the console from the side where the nav computer is located and grab it. A cutscene will start. Waka will reveal its true face, and a bounty hunter who is hunting you - Vail - will also show up. Prepare yourself that when you regain control of your character, you will have to run away quickly.
11. Escape the shipwreck.
Run down the corridor ahead and jump over the gap that will open when the door in front of you collapses.
Run ahead until you lose the balance and slide down.
Go through the door on the right. Two Zerek Besh guards will start shooting at you from the platform above. The explosion of the explosive barrel they are standing next to will take them out.
Go through the door on the left and keep running. When the collapsing ceiling block your path straight ahead, turn into the room on the right side.
When you pass through the next door, a cutscene will start. Kay will run into Vail again but a mysterious droid will show up, take care of the bounty hunter and tell Kay to run away. Kay obeys him and gets out of the wreckage by sliding down the ship's engine nozzle.
When you regain control of your character, you should spot your speeder waiting for you just a few steps ahead.
Jump on it and drive through the gate in front of you, and then through the tunnel.
12. Leave Toshara.
Return to the landing pad in Mirogana and board the Trailblazer. It will start another cutscene. Kay meets Jaylen Vrax, and the ND-5 droid who helped you escape from the wreck a little earlier. Jaylen offers Kay to participate in the heist of Sliro's mansion. Initially skeptical, Kay eventually accepts his proposal.
This quest will end, you will receive the rewards for completing it: ND-5 droid as a new crew member and ND-5's Blaster Upgrade - Rapid Plasma Kit, and the next main quest will pop up in your journal - Hyperspace.
After completing The Wreck you will get or will be able to get Hyperspace and Jet Kordo's Legacy.
