In Resident Evil 4 Remake, Small Keys are special, limited-use items that let you open locked drawers and cabinets containing valuable loot. They are optional but highly important for players who want extra resources, money, and treasures.
Small Keys are used on small locked drawers, desks, and cabinets scattered throughout the Village, Castle, and Island areas. When you approach one of these containers, the game will prompt you to use a Small Key if you have one. Once used, the key is consumed and disappears from your inventory.
