The King's Son Red Dead Redemption 2 Mission

1. Speak to Rains Fall

Enter the chief's teepee and talk to him. Rains Fall is a loving father, so Arthur will decide that he and Charles will try to free the Eagle Flies.

2. Follow Charles / Cross the river

Get on your horse and ride with Charles to the fort. Your partner knows how you can get to the fort unnoticed.

Along the way you will have to cross the river.

Finally, you will reach the walls of the fort where you will wait until darkness falls.

3. Follow Charles / Take out the guards

Note: The requirement to earn the gold medal says that you must headshot every soldier blocking your way to Eagle Flies while infiltrating Fort Wallace, but it doesn't apply to cases where two soldiers stand in your way at the same time. In that case, Charles may kill one of them.

Sneak into the vicinity of the fort's gate. A patrol leaving the fort won't notice you and won't be a problem. Your first targets will be the two soldiers at the gate. Use the bow and headshot one of them.

Then follow Charles along the wall. When one of the soldiers on the wall decides to check the surroundings, wait in hiding until he does it and leave.

Keep following Charles. When you reach the next two soldiers, headshoot the one standing on the ground. Charles will take care of the one standing on the tower.

A little further, Charles will use a grappling hook and you will use it to climb up the walls of the fort.

Kill a guard who comes out of a nearby tower.

There's another soldier on the other side of the tower. Charles will suggest you to use a knife, but you should take the lead and shoot him in the head with a bow.

A little further you will encounter another two soldiers. Kill one of them, Charles will take care of the other.

When you pass another tower, you will come across another soldier standing on the wall.

A little further you will reach the stairs where you will be able to descend to the fort's courtyard.

Unfortunately, there are too many soldiers in the courtyard to be able to cross over to the other side, to the building where the Eagle Flies is kept. Charles, however, has an idea of how to distract the soldiers.

4. Climb up the tower / Go to the walkway / Silently shoot the lantern

Go to a nearby tower and climb up the ladder.

Kill another guard who is standing on the walkway.

Then use the bow to shoot the lantern hanging under the tent in the middle of the courtyard.

5. Go to Charles / Search the guard for the keys / Open the jail door

Taking advantage of the chaos caused by the fire, Charles will get near the building where Eagle Flies is being held. You must join him. At the end of the walkway there is a ladder where you can climb down. You can also jump over the railing.

You'll enter the building together and Charles will eliminate the soldier inside.

In order to open a cell with Eagle Flies you need keys. You will find them in the corpse of the soldier.

Open the cell door and release the Eagle Flies.

Unfortunately, after a while the soldiers in the fort will find out what is going on and the alarm will be raised. You will run outside and the shooting will begin.

6. Take out the guards / Follow Eagle Flies / Destroy the wall

Kill all the soldiers in the fort, in its courtyard, walls and towers.

When you kill all the soldiers in the fort, the Eagle Flies will mention a hole in the wall through which you could get out and which he saw when they brought him here. Run after him, unfortunately the hole has already been repaired.

So you must destroy the wall. There is a cannon nearby that you can use to destroy it. You can also use dynamite if you have one. If you want to use the cannon then rotate it towards the wall, aim and fire it.

7. Mount your horse / Follow Charles / Take out the guards / Get in the canoe

Run out of the fort through the hole in the wall and get on your horse. Eagle Flies will ride with Charles. Follow Charles to the river where he left the canoes. You will be pursued by a few soldiers on horseback. Keeping in mind the high accuracy needed to earn the gold medal, try to eliminate as many of them as possible.

When you reach the river, before you can get in the canoe, you will have to kill all the remaining soldiers chasing you.

When possible, get in the canoe and start paddling.

8. Follow Charles down the river / Head to the shore of the river

Follow Charles down the river, avoid rocks and eliminate soldiers who will appear on shores, bridges, etc. Dead Eye will be very useful here, as it will help you kill all 15 soldiers and maintain the high accuracy needed to win the gold medal.

1. One rider on the right bank.

2 + 3. A bit further another rider and infantry also on the right bank of the river.

4. One infantry soldier running on the rocks on the left bank of the river.

5 + 6 + 7. One rider on the right bank + one infantry in the middle of the bridge and another on the right side of the bridge.

8. Right after passing the bridge one infantry on the left bank.

9. Rider on the bridge.

10. Rider on the right bank.

11. Rider on the left bank.

12 + 13. A little further two infantry men running from the hill towards the river.

14 + 15. And finally, after a few bends in the river, two riders on the left bank. You have to be quick, activate Dead Eye, mark and kill them both before Charles does.

Finally, you will reach a safe place, get off ashore and the mission will end.
