A Fork in the Road Red Dead Redemption 2 Mission

This mission is not marked on the map. It can be triggered at the end of chapter 5 or early in chapter 6. You will receive it when you go to Saint Denis to meet Sadie Adler. Once you arrive near the Icarus and Friends mission area, Arthur will start coughing violently until he passes out. When you wake up, you will find yourself being dragged by a stranger through the streets. He'll say you don't look well, and will lead you to a doctor.
Arthur passes out in Saint Denis, and wakes up to find a stranger dragging him to the doctor's surgery.

Prior missions
To begin A Fork in the Road you must first complete Fleeting Joy.
Objectives of A Fork in the Road
1. Follow the stranger / Go to the examination room
Follow the stranger to the doctor's office.
When you arrive, he will direct you inside, and he will even give you $10 for your treatment if you are out of money.
Enter the doctor's office. Inside you will be greeted by a nurse who will quickly call a doctor.
Head into the examination room.
Walk toward the green chair and sit as soon as you get the prompt. The doctor will ask you to pay him $10 and then he will examine you.
Unfortunately, the diagnosis is that you have tuberculosis. Finally, the Doctor will give you a shot to strengthen you and you will be able to leave his office.
2. Leave the area
Walk away in any direction until you see the animal. You'll have some flashbacks on your way. Depending on your honor rating (good or bad), quotes in flashbacks, screen color and the animal that you see in the end of this mission will be different.
After completing this mission Arthur will only gain the benefit from consuming a limited amount of food and drink. It means that his cores will only refill from food and drink to a certain level. The only way to fully refill the cores is to rest or sleep.
After completing A Fork in the Road you will get or will be able to get Do Not Seek Absolution I.
