Memory Shards allow you to take a snapshot of your current environment and mark the place on the world map for later. It is especially useful to keep track of a blocked path or a treasure out of reach - to come back to it once you have unlocked the right ability. Soon after you start the game you get 15 memory shards to use. During the game you can find an additional 10 memory shards (Each memory shard chest gives two additional shards).
Memory Shard (Lower City)It counts as a Lower City Valuable Item.
Memory Shard (Soma Tree)It counts as a Soma Tree Valuable Item. To get here you need the "Dimensional Claw" power.
Memory Shard (Sunken Harbor)It counts as a Sunken Harbor Valuable Item.
Memory Shard (The Depths)It counts as The Depths Valuable Item. To get here you need the "Shadow of the Simurgh" power.
Memory Shard (Upper City)It counts as an Upper City Valuable Item.
