Points of Interest Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Game Guide

An alphabetical list of all groups of points of interest that have been marked on the maps for the game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

Abilities

Basic abilities used by the player character while playing Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. They are unlocked as you progress through the game. The first two are unlocked early in the game, only the third one becomes available much later.

Amulets

There are a total of 36 (+1) Amulets in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Amulets grant passive bonuses that can alter your playstyle. They have very diverse powers from attack boosts i.e. attack damage or more arrows to healing properties such as regenerate health over time or when defeating an enemy or even game-changing capacities like display enemy life bars, signal nearby treasure chests, etc.

Amulet Holders

Each Amulet Holder increases by 1 the number of slots available for Amulets. At the beginning, 3 such slots are available. A total of 9 Amulet Holders can be found, bought or received as a reward for completing the quest, bringing the total number of slots to 12.

Arrows

Arrow stands that will allow you to replenish the supply of your arrows. Arrows can, of course, be replenished after you unlock the ability to use the bow, that is, you find the Bow of Menolias.

Athra Surges

There are a total of 10 Athra Surges in the game. They are special abilities that can be offensive or defensive. Two of them can be equipped at once. To equip new Athra ability you must go to a Wak-Wak Tree.

Azure Damascus Ingots

You need the Azure Damascus Ingots to upgrade your swords and bow. A total of 20 can be found, which is exactly the amount you need to upgrade both weapons to the maximum. You can upgrade weapons at the Kaheva forge.

Blow-Up Walls

Yellow-lit walls that can be destroyed with an explosion. For this to be possible, you must have the "Dimensional Claw" power and use it to absorb some explosive object, such as a barrel, yellow rock, explosive plant, and the like and then throw it towards the wall.

Eye Doors

A special door controlled by a guard's eye that you will be able to unlock once you acquire the Holy Scholarship Key that drops from a defeated Jailer.

Fast Travel Altars

You can use these altars to move quickly around the game world. To make this possible you must first reach them and restore them. Once you've done this, you can interact with one of them and then choose a desired destination from the list, another unlocked altar to teleport to.

Hidden Passages

Secret passageways hidden behind walls that will be revealed after you hit the wall several times with your sword or arrows. This will unlock access to hidden rooms that generally contain some interesting items.

Lore Items

Lore Items are special collectible items that can be collected in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. There are 57 of them in total. The vast majority of them can be found by exploring the game world. In a few cases, you will first have to break some sort of container in which they are placed.

Masked Monsters

Large monsters blocking the way in narrow corridors in The Depths. They have a large stone mask that prevents them from taking damage when attacking them from the front. To get past such monster use the "Shadow of the Simurgh" power. Then you can attack its red abdomen and kill it or just move on.

Memory Shards

Memory Shards allow you to take a snapshot of your current environment and mark the place on the world map for later. It is especially useful to keep track of a blocked path or a treasure out of reach - to come back to it once you have unlocked the right ability. Soon after you start the game you get 15 memory shards to use. During the game you can find an additional 10 memory shards (Each memory shard chest gives two additional shards).

Named Encounters

Notable enemies that appear in the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown game. Here you will find bosses that are part of the game's main storyline, as well as other named enemies that will stand in your way as you explore Mount Qaf.

One-way Blockers

Different types of passages that can be passed the first time only by approaching them from a particular side. These can be, for example, gates that can be opened by pulling a lever located on one side of them, or wooden blockades that can be destroyed but only by hitting them from a particular side.

Sargon's Outfits allow you to customize your character's appearance. You can find them after opening a particularly tough chests to get to. They are purely cosmetic items so they don't have any gameplay impact.

Side Quests

Complete these additional missions to gather useful rewards to upgrade your gear. There are 9 side quests in total.

Soma Tree

Soma Tree Petals and Soma Tree Flowers extend our character's health bar. Each Soma Tree Flower and every four Soma Tree Petals add another segment to the life bar. In total you can get 12 health bar upgrades (6 Soma flowers + 24 Soma petals) for a total of 15 health bar segments.

Spirited-Sand Jars

A total of 30 Spirited-Sand Jars can be found in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. They are needed to complete the side quest "Prophecy of Mount Qaf". By bringing the jars to the fresco, you will reveal more fragments of it and the contents of the prophecy. For each jar you will get a reward of time crystals and every five jars you return you will get some kind of a better reward, for example Soma Tree Petal, Amulet, Ingot, etc.

Time Crystals

Crystalline form of space-time. A valuable and highly coveted currency on Mount Qaf.

Time Crystals Chests

Time Crystal Chests are treasure chests containing 200 Time Crystals.

Time Powers

After key steps in your journey, you will collect a Feather of the Simurgh. Each feather grants you an additional Time Power, which can alter time and space.

Vendors

Vendors from whom you can purchase various items or upgrades. The currency you will need to make purchases is Time Crystals, Xerxes Coins or Azure Damascus Ingots. Some items and upgrades will be available when you have made progress in the main story of the game.

Wak-Wak Trees

Save your progression and manage your equipment (Amulets, Athra surges). Respawn here on a Game Over.

Writings

All sorts of stone tablets, inscriptions, scrolls and the like that you can find on your way and read. From them you can learn something about the game world or, for example, find clues on how to solve nearby puzzles.

Xerxes Coins

Xerxes Coins are a special currency that is used to purchase better upgrades for amulets from Kaheva or items sold by The Scrapper. The amount of coins you can collect is exactly enough to buy all the items you can buy with them and make all the upgrades. So you don't have to worry about running out of them.
