List of all the collectible items and points of interest you can find or visit while playing Hogwarts Legacy.
In total there are 30 Demiguise Moon Statues you can collect in Hogwarts Legacy. They become available after "The Caretaker's Lunar Lament" main quest and they can only be collected at night. You will receive one moon after completing "The Caretaker's Lunar Lament" quest.
Demiguise Moons Statues are needed to complete "The Man Behind the Moons" side quest and to lear the higher levels of Alohomora spell. This will allow you to open higher level locks. You need 9 moons for level 2 and 13 more for level 3.
Once you collect all Demiguise Moons, you will unlock the "Demiguise Dread" achievement / trophy.
Return additional Demiguise Moons to Gladwin Moon to learn higher levels of Alohomora.
A total of 236 Field Guide Pages are required to fill all the counters associated with collecting field guide pages in each region. This does not include a few pages that can be collected in quests, such as the "History of Magic Class" quest. Revelio Pages, on the other hand, are 150 in all. The field guide pages are a nice source of experience, collecting each of them grants an additional 80 XP.
There are five types of field guide pages:
Collection Chests are chests that contain certain types of items: wand handles, conjuration items or traits. They are shown on the minimap in the form of white chest icons. In total there are 157 Collection Chests.
The sum of all collection chests in each region of the Highlands only gives 116 and the master map counter shows 117. This is because it includes a chest that can be found in Hogsmeade during one of the quests.
You can start getting Balloon Sets after unlocking the flying broom, which means you must complete the "Flying Class" main quest.
Landing Platforms are small circular platforms, generally placed somewhere high up. You can start collecting them after getting a flying broom, which happens after completing the "Flying Class" quest.
Hedge Mazes are one of the challenges awaiting the player in Hogwarts Legacy. While the locations in which this challenge can appear are fixed, whether it will be available at any given time in that location seems to be random. If the challenge is available then you should see a large arch-shaped gate made of vegetation at the location.
The player's task is to go through the gate, which will cause the maze to appear and find the legendary chest inside the maze which contains a piece of legendary gear. The layout of the maze is random.
The Arithmancy Doors are distinctive-looking doors that block access to the room where, for example, a chest or field guide page is located. There are twelve of them in all, and they are all located within Hogwarts Castle. You will be able to open them when you solve the puzzle assigned to them.
Unlocked Floo Flames act as fast travel points. To unlock a Floo Flame, simply walk near it. There are 86 Floo Flames in total, but you can only unlock 83 because four Floo Flames are located in the common rooms of each house, one in each, and depending on which house you have selected, you will only have access to one of them.
A total of 15 Astronomy Tables are available in the game. You will be able to use them after completing the main quest "Astronomy Class". As with the Demiguise Moon Statues, this will only be possible during the night. To solve this kind of puzzle you have to move the telescope until the blue outline of the constellation matches the bright stars on the sky.
The Butterflies are an additional activity available in Hogwarts Legacy, through which you can get access to 15 chests containing conjuration items. First you need to find a group of butterflies flying in the air and get close to them. They are not very well visible, but when you get close enough you should notice their icon on the mini map.
When you get close to them, they will start to move. Follow them and after a while they will lead you to a place where there is a chest linked to them. The current position of the butterflies will be marked on the minimap all the time, which makes it much easier to locate them again in case you lose them. Without finding the butterflies, the matching chest will not be available.
Daedalian Keys will appear only after starting the quest "The Daedalian Keys". These are small keys floating in the air. There are a total of 16 of them and all of them are located in Hogwarts Castle. When you approach one of them, it will start flying towards the corresponding House Cabinet, which should be somewhere nearby. Follow it, interact with the cabinet and slap the key when it hovers over the lock. When you do so, the cabinet will open and you will receive a House Token that you can throw into the chest located in the common room of your house. Once you throw in all 16 house tokens you will receive a unique outfit for your house.
Interact with the Ancient Magic Hotspot to spawn three "energy bubbles" somewhere nearby. To complete the challenge collect all bubbles. Additional capacity will be added to your Ancient Magic Meter every time you manage to complete a certain number of hotspots (2 / 8 / 20).
If you already have a broomstick, getting to the bubbles will be trivial in most cases. If you can't fly yet, the task will be a bit more difficult. In general, you'll have to do a little climbing, for example, you will have to relocate a movable crate to climb over it, destroy objects such as vines blocking access to ladders, etc.
