You will receive this quest when you complete the Demoniacal cult quest.

To begin Face to face with the demon you must first complete Demoniacal cult.
Quest stages of Face to face with the demon
1. Find the sanctuary indicated by Derdre
2. Lead the search in the swamps
Examine the fresco that represents a sort of insect.
Find the Page Torn From a Journal.
Examine the fading image.
Examine the fresco of a red serpent.
3. Question the old hermit
4. Beat the drums
Play the drums: an insect, a frog, and a snake.
5. Acquire and pour the potion
You can craft this potion, but you need level 1 of Science and 1 x Nightshade berries to do it.
You can also find this potion in a chest that is in the same camp where you found the page torn from a journal.
The chest is locked. To unlock it you need Locpicking 2 or a key. The key can be found in the corpse of the scientist that you will find lying next to the rocks near the fresco of the insect.
