Tale: Ishikawa Tale
Location: Izuhara
Prerequisites: To play this tale, you must first complete the tale The Tale of Sensei Ishikawa.
This tale will be unlocked when you complete "The Tale of Sensei Ishikawa" main tale.
(2 of 9) Sensei Ishikawa and I learned that his former student, Tomoe, has sided with the Mongols. He asked me to meet him at his dojo so we can continue the hunt to track her down.
The Sensei and the Student
Izuhara
Go to Sensei Ishikawa's Dojo in Hiyoshi, and speak with Ishikawa. He will warn you that Tomoe is an extremely dangerous opponent and then ask you to go with him.
Sensei Ishikawa's traitorous former student, Tomoe, is training Mongol archers in Hiyoshi. This frightens the sensei, though he tries to hide it. If we don't find her and end this, there may be no stopping the archers, and no hope for Hiyoshi.
Follow Ishikawa. You'll talk about Tomoe on the way. When you get to the bottom of the cliff, Ishikawa will tell you to climb to the top.
Climb to the top of the cliff...
...and speak with Sensei Ishikawa who got to the top by another route. Ishikawa will fire an arrow towards the targets located near the watchtower and ask you to go and inspect the target.
Approach the target and examine it. When you do that, you will be attacked by the Mongols who will run out of the tower.
Defeat all the Mongols...
...and then talk to Sensei Ishikawa. He'll admit to you that he knew there were Mongols in the tower, but he wanted to see how you would behave in case of an ambush.
Find the footprints of the Mongols and follow them.
They will lead you to the village where the Mongols captured some villagers.
To free the prisoners, you must kill all Mongols. When you are detected, Mongols will kill the prisoners, so best stay as long as possible in hiding and eliminate your opponents with a bow without revealing yourself. For example, you can destroy a hornet's nest.
When all the enemies are dead, approach the hostages and ask them about Tomoe and they'll tell you what they know.
To complete this tale, talk to Ishikawa and tell him what you found out. He will decide to come back to his dojo to prepare properly and will ask you to come to him when you are ready. Another tale will be unlocked - "The Past Never Passes".
After completing this tale, you will be able to play the tale The Past Never Passes.
