In Forza Horizon 6, Street Racing events are illegal-style nighttime races that take place on open public roads instead of closed festival circuits. These races focus on high-speed driving through active traffic routes rather than organized festival tracks.

One of the main features of Street Racing is live traffic. Civilian cars remain on the roads during events, forcing players to dodge vehicles while racing. Another key feature is the lack of strict car restrictions, allowing players to use a wide variety of car classes instead of being limited to specific categories.

Street Racing is also separated from the traditional Horizon Festival progression system. In FH6, this discipline is tied to the "Discover Japan" progression path alongside Touge Battles.
