In Forza Horizon 6, Drift Attack Events are a new type of open-world driving activity focused on achieving the highest possible drift scores on dedicated routes across Japan. Instead of entering events through menus, players simply drive through the gate to instantly begin a session with no loading screens.
The main objective in Drift Attack is maximizing your score by maintaining long, controlled drifts through each section of the course. Players compete to beat their own personal best scores while earning Credits and XP for higher-scoring runs. Leaderboards track results by car class and reset weekly.
Unlike traditional drift competitions, Drift Attack routes exist directly in the shared open world. Other players can appear on the route at the same time, creating a live multiplayer atmosphere. Each route also includes an in-world leaderboard displaying global scores, nearby rivals, and top records.
