McKay Global Signs Agreement To Convert Yara's Industrial Facilities:
McKay Global announced today that it has entered a joint venture agreement and related agreements with Yara to convert all of its existing industrial facilities into "clean" and "carbon neutral" facilities in the La Joya region. The total cost of this four phase project is expected to be approximately $20 million USD.
The agreement provides both Yara and McKay Global each with a 50% ownership position in the projects. McKay Global will provide all sales activities, its proprietary technology and design, and Yara will work jointly on the design and conversion using a workforce consisting of Yaran and international experts.
As of today, McKay Global will become the exclusive operators of all industrial plants (active and inactive) in the La Joya region. The agreement also provides the basis for expanding well beyond the first region, as the market demand requires.
