Furioso: Flames of Hell - Issue #1
I always loved this hombre as a kid. Anyone who is made of fucking fire, can melt bodies and turn bones into dust in seconds has my respect. And he had the best bad guys: Kingfisher, Scorpion Man, Viperess, El Cocodrilo. A superhero is only as good as their rogues' gallery, Dani. Which means you and I are pretty fucking great superheroes.
In case you are wondering, yes, Juan Cortez modeled your Supremo after him. And yes, I am hoping that you will eventually turn into a raging ball of fire. Come on, Dani. You know you want this too.

Exterminador: Strike Force - Issue #2
Now this loco motherfucker is my kind of guerrilla. Gorilla. Whatever. He's a genetically-supercharged ape who was experimented on by government scientists. They tried to give him hyper-intelligence, but he got hyper-focused battle abilities instead - and a fucking temper worse than a drunk F5 Tornado full of rattlesnakes. Obviously they got their guts ripped out by his signature rocket launcher.
A good reminder, Dani: monkeys should never, ever, ever use heavy ordnance. Ever. Trust me, I tried it. Many times and in many different countries.

The Cabinet of Dr. Médico - Issue #3
Growing up, everybody I knew wanted to be Dr. Médico. This hombre is a brain surgeon, an inventor, a crimefighter, a spy, an equal-opportunity lover, and a professional salsa dancer. Nobody has that skillset, Dani. Not even Juan Cortez. I've done a lot of shit in my life, and I’ve killed a lot of people, but I still haven't hit the bar he set for little Juanito.
But my favorite thing about the good doctor was that he hurt his enemies as much as he healed his friends. Never forget: you will never be a force for good in the world without cracking a few skulls.

Guerrilla rule number forty-six, Dani: a good guerrilla attacks from the shadows. Preferably with some poison-tipped spears like the ones Fantasma uses. You won't have to face off against Necrella and her legion of undead zombie minions, but that sickly old fucker Antón is half-dead already anyway. So I think it counts.

He is the soul of a six-year-old boy trapped in a mechanical construct that can emit EMP waves to disable all technology in a huge radius. Kind of like how you're the soul of a six-year-old trapped in the body of an angsty millennial guerrilla, Dani. Come see me if you need any topical cream for that burn.

Gladiador Rising - Issue #6
The Gladiador is one tough motherfucker. She's a former weightlifter who became a mercenary after getting drafted into a war she didn't want to fight. Oh, and she's a junkie too: hooked on a synthetic compound designed by a mad scientist that gives her superhuman strength. I didn't have any radioactive lunar dust because I snorted it all back in the 80’s. But I made up my own recipe for my own little guerrilla junkie (that's you, Dani).
This is the one where she goes up against the Gunja Gang. They're ninjas with guns. Get it?
