Flavors of Mayhem Fallout 76 Quest
Group: Main Quests
You need to complete this quest in order to be able to gain Rose's trust and thus complete one of the objectives of The Missing Link quest.
Rose wants someone to try out some Raider tactics so she can gauge their effectiveness.

Quest stages of Flavors of Mayhem
1. Speak with Rose
I need to go speak with Rose at the Top of the World. She wants me to do something for her again.
2. Add a Karma Syringe Barrel Mod to Rose's Syringer
Rose is having me test out various Raider tactics to see which ones work best. Following in the footsteps of the Cutthroats, I need to add a Karma Syringe Barrel Mod to Rose's Syringer.
To be able to do this you need a Weapons Workbench and:
2 x Firecracker Berry
1 x Glowing Resin
1 x Psycho
1 x Steel
If you already have all the ingredients, you will find the nearest weapons workbench in the Top of the World building at Mezzanine Level.
Firecracker Berries
You should be able to find some around the Top of the World but if you don't want to run around and look for it then you should go to Solomon's Pond and there very easily you will find some bushes of this plant.
Glowing Resin
You will find it on tree trunks around the Top of the World and south of it.
3. Shoot a Yao Guai with a Karma Syringe
Now I need to shoot something with Rose's Syringer. Anything will do, but Rose prefers I shoot a Yao Guai. The Karma syringe will boost the target's natural abilities for a while, then they'll be easier to kill when they come crashing off of it.
Go to Monongah Overlook.

I shot my target with a Karma dart, now I have to make sure it dies.

5. Craft Explosive Bait at Any Tinker's Workbench
I need to craft explosive bait, a favorite tool of the Trappers. It should attract hungry creatures and detonate when they get near, damaging them with a concussive blast.
6. Use Explosive Bait on a Creature
I need to test the Explosive Bait. If I set up the bait near a hungry carnivore, the meat should attract the creature, and the explosives will detonate when it gets near.
Equip the Explosive Bait, enter the area and throw the bait down on the ground. Wait for mongrels to come and for the bomb to explode.
7. Approach a Deathclaw and "Make Friends"
Rose says the Diehards weren't as aggressive as the other Raiders. She wants me to go "make friends with a Deathclaw." This sounds insane, but could it work?
You have to get close enough to it and then press Make Friends button.
7.1. (Optional) Kill the Deathclaw
I came across a Deathclaw, and as I suspected, she wasn't serious. It's clearly very hostile. I need to kill it or run away!

8. Steal From a Super Mutant Camp
The Blackwater Bandits were master thieves, so I'm supposed to follow in their footsteps and steal a weapon from a Super Mutant camp.
The camp should be marked on your map, if it isn't then relog to fix this. I think (not sure) that its location is random. In my case it was New Gad. Go there, find the chest and loot it.
8.1. (Optional) Don't Get Caught
9. Kill a Feral Ghoul
I successfully stole from the Super Mutants. Now, Rose is telling me I need to learn from the cannibalistic Gourmands. First, I need to find a group of feral ghouls and kill one.
Go to the location marked on your map (could be random, I'm not sure), in my case it was R & G Processing Services and kill a feral ghoul.
10. (Optional) Equip Cannibal Perk and Cannibalize a Feral Ghoul
I killed a feral ghoul and ate its flesh, which was actually beneficial. I now need to go back and see Rose.
Endurance Perks > Cannibal.
11. Speak with Rose
I killed a feral ghoul. I can probably get away with not eating its flesh, but it won't win as many points with Rose if I don't. Whether I choose to be a cannibal or not, I need to go back and see Rose.
12. (Quest completed)
I followed all of Rose's instructions. I now have a bunch of new Raider tools and tactics available to me.
After completing Flavors of Mayhem you will get or will be able to get Key To the Past.
