Quest stages of Early Warnings
1. Listen to Abbie
I discovered an old bunker in the Mire. When I entered, a voice recording came over an intercom system. I should listen to it and find out what the creator was up to.
2. Find the missing Uplink
I triggered a recorded message from a woman named Abbie. She asked for my help to find a missing uplink. Abbie said the last person who had it was a man named Madigan, heading toward Top of the World.
To find the missing uplink you must complete The Missing Link quest.
3. Repair the Broken Uplink
I have Madigan's uplink, but it's broken and needs repairs. Once I have the parts, I need to repair it at a tinker's workbench. Abbie mentioned she has one in her bunker.
There is a tinker's workbench in the bunker.
You need:
- 1 x Broken Uplink
- 5 x Adhesive
- 3 x Circuitry
- 5 x Steel
4. Select Uplink Repaired at the Scorched Detection Terminal
Now that I have repaired the uplink, I should check in at the SDS terminal. I need to find the "Uplink Repaired" option to trigger Abbie's next message.
Use Scorched Detection System Terminal and select Uplink Repaired.
5. Listen to Abbie
I repaired the uplink and used Abbie's terminal to trigger her recording for the next step. I should listen to it to find out what I need to do.
You will receive the Raleigh's Password.
6. Enter Raleigh's bunker
Abbie's last recording said I need to get inside Raleigh Clay's bunker to recover some fan motors. She gave me the password so I could get inside. Now all I need to do is find it.
Go to the Raleigh Clay's Bunker and use the access terminal to unlock the door.
7. Listen to Abbie
When I entered Raleigh's bunker, another recorded message from Abbie came over the intercom system. I should listen to her for more information.
8. Find the Fan Motors (x/5)
After entering Raleigh's bunker, another message from Abbie came over the intercom system. She said I can find the motors in the generator room, but will also need to look for heating coils and potentially some schematics for some helpful protection in the Mire.
All five of them can be found in one of the cabinets.
9. (Optional) Find Raleigh's Schematics
After entering Raleigh's bunker, another message from Abbie came over the intercom system. She said I can find the fan motors in the generator room, but will also need to look for heating coils and potentially some schematics for some helpful protection in the Mire.
10. Find a Heating Coil at Raleigh's bunker
I found the fan motors. Now I need to find heating coils. Abbie's recording mentioned I can find them in Raleigh's bunker, Ella's Bunker, the nearby relay tower, and her own bunker. She also said Raleigh had schematics for some helpful protection in the Mire.
14. Craft Upgraded Motors (x/5)
Now that I have both the fan motors and the heating coils, I need to find a tinker's workbench to create the upgraded motors I need for the Scorched Detectors. Abbie has mentioned she has one in her bunker if I can't find one easily.
You have to use any tinker's workbench. One is in the bunker. In total you need:
- 10 x Copper
- 15 x Steel
- 5 x Fan Motor
- 5 x Heating Coil
15. Select Motors Upgraded at the Scorched Detection Terminal
I've finally created the upgraded motors for the Scorched Detectors. I need to check in at the SDS terminal and select the "Upgraded Motors" option to see what's next.
Use Scorched Detection System Terminal and select Motors Upgraded.
Quest completed.
After completing Early Warnings you will get or will be able to get Reassembly Required.
