There are 12 GRE Anomalies in Dying Light 2. Finding and clearing all GRE Anomalies unlocks the "Revenants" achievement / trophy.
The GRE Anomaly is the lair of a powerful infected that corrupts the area and reanimates the dead around it. To face the Revenant, you need to enter GRE Anomaly location at Night. After you defeat the Revenant, a nearby military container will open and you'll be able to loot two Inhibitors from it.
After the chemical bombings on January 6th, 2025, the THV GenMod compound created horrifying mutations among the infected. Some of these monsters seemed to have come from Hell itself.
