This quest begins after you collect the Abyss artifact at the end of the "Abyss without Balance" quest, when a white crow appears nearby and transforms into a mysterious woman dressed in white.
A woman in white appears to be waiting. Approach the mysterious woman.
Rewards: Faded Abyss Artifact x1, Palmar Pill x1
Approach the woman. It turns out she is the same person you met earlier in the sewers. You will receive a new ability from her - Wings (By pressing the jump button midair, you can deploy a set of wings to slow your descent and glide to reach new areas).
Once the conversation ends, your character will automatically jump down to return to Pywel, testing out the newly acquired ability in the process.
As you fall, the game will ask you to press a key to deploy your wings - do so. Gliding takes quite a bit of stamina but you'll recover stamina while falling, so you can deploy your wings multiple times midair.
You should see Hernand below. Try to glide toward the settlement, but don’t worry if you fall short. If you land outside the town, simply walk or ride your horse to the city to complete this quest and conclude the first chapter.
The woman introduced herself as White Crow, guardian of the Abyss, and then bestowed the power to soar through the skies. You returned the faith Alustin and White Crow placed in you by trusting their words and intentions.
