Quarrel in the Quarry, Blacktail Quest

Yaga once again met Sir Knight, the mushroom chevalier extraordinaire. She learned that a nearby quarry was to be taken over by the gnoll horde. This could not be allowed to happen. Yaga agreed to, so to say, assist Knight in reclaiming the bastion.

The battle was at hand. Yaga was to defend the mine from incoming waves of the gnoll horde.

She knew full well that should she be overwhelmed; she could retreat to the mushroom’s safehouse and come back properly prepared to fend off the aggressors.

A familiar mushroom revealed the gnoll horde’s invasion was to begin in the nearby mine. Having repelled an onslaught before, Yaga still could not rest if she wanted to aid her fungal acquaintance.

Alas, the battle was far from over. Another push from the horde was incoming. Yaga’s bravery was to be tested yet again. To the walls, she went.

And another battle raged on. The horde was far fiercer than before, and yet Yaga did everything within her power to endure.

I’ll have you know, dear reader, there was no shame for Yaga in retreating only to be back at it once again, properly prepared.

It soon became evident that the second battle for the mine would not be the last. The final encounter with the gnoll horde was at hand. If they were to be bested now, they would dare not return.

Knight needed Yaga’s assistance in this final battle.

The flames of war raged the brightest now that the fate of the mine was to be set in stone once and for all.

Yaga came to the battle well prepared.

The battle was now truly over; the mine was reclaimed for the Grands.
