Altars featured in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden are places where you can permanently increase your stats. Altars of the Incarnate increase your health points, and Altars of the Invisible increase your spirit points.
A total of 16 altars are available in the game, 8 of each type. 5 of them can be found in The Dark Woods, 2 of them can be found in the Mire Marshes, 4 are in Mount Pleasant area and 5 more can be found in The Harrows.
