Quest Group: Those Who Are Treasured (A Great Escape)
Category: Korfu Quest
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest A Great Escape.
This is the first quest you will receive during your visit to Korfu Island. Your vacation idyll will be interrupted by the arrival of old friends who will finally talk you into a new adventure.
Despite Alexios's departure, Herodotos and Barnabas proved they were never too far behind. They were sure a treasure hunt for the ages was just what Alexios needed to get back to his normal self.
To get your gear you should visit a nearby cave, the entrance to which is hidden behind some vines.
You will find your equipment in the main cavern. When you take it, new items - Thaleia's Overprotective Hat (Legendary Head) and Gateway Garb (Epic Torso), will be added to your equipment and you will also unlock a new engraving - "+99% Sunburn Resistance".
Use your weapons to hit the three targets located in the cave.
Get out of the cave and return to Barnabas and you will receive new clues from him.
Treasure Hunt Hint
"Not sure where to go? I'll help - for your sake! To find the tablet, go look near the lake."
Hints:
Head to Lake Katarrakton, kill the soldiers you encounter there and pick up and CHECK the tablet you will find at the end of the marina - The Captain and the Cyclops (Riddle).
GREECE - Korfu
Tortured by a cyclops and almost drowned in a pot! This great captain befriended you, pledged his life, his ship, and his crew. Travel northwest, in the village where I rest. You will find me in the jar, and in the goat not!
Hints:
Head to Alieos Village and look inside the large vase standing in the middle of the village - The Captain and the Cyclops (Solution). When you do this, the enemies in the village who were not aggressive at first will attack you.
Defeat four opponents in battle, which should not be a difficult challenge. When you do this one of the opponents will unexpectedly stun you and you will end up in a cage.
The cage door is very weak and all you have to do is hit it with your fist and it will crumble and you will be able to get out.
Your gear is in a crate at the marina. If you don't want to fight then you can just sneak in there using the bushes, etc.
Kill and loot the jailer and you will get his notes this way.
Jailer's notes
"No one can read the stupid thing, but the letter was written by the hunter himself. Keep it in the settlement until it's deciphered, and keep your noses in the sand until the treasure's found!"
Hints:
This time go to Lestikos Settlement. You will find the letter you are looking for in a chest that is located on the first floor of one of the houses in the village.
Old Letter
The language this letter is written in is very confusing for the average person of the Greek world. Only an expert can read it.
Your friends will be waiting for you at a new location just north of the settlement. Alexios will show them the letter he found and together you will determine what to do next. This quest will end and you will receive two new ones - "Not All Treasure Should Be Found", and "A Kind of Treasure Hunt".
Rewards: Legendary XP, Epic Drachmae, Korfu's Greaves (Epic Legs).
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quests Not All Treasure Should Be Found, A Kind of Treasure Hunt.
