In order to start this quest you should return to your ship - Adrestia, and talk to Herodotos.
Herodotos received a letter from his brother saying his parents had died. He asked Alexios to take him to Samos.

Objectives of Letter from Home
1. Escort Herodotos to Samos Island
Sail to Ship Dock (Pythagoreion) on Samos Island.
- You can do this.
- Take your time.
2. Follow Herodotos to his house
3. Look around the house for memorabilia
Investigate three clues: toys, pottery, and a tablet. All of them are located on the ground floor of the house.
Once you've examined all the clues, you'll meet Mestor and Theodoros. Mestor will be happy to see Herodotos, but Theodoros doesn't share his enthusiasm.

- Watch it.
- Theodoros will come around.
- Forget him.
- Let's go now.
- We'll go later.
4. Quest Completed
Rewards: Rare XP, Rare Drachmae.
After completing Letter from Home you will get or will be able to get Regrets.
