To start this quest, go to Kirrha in Phokis and visit the Sokrates' House.
Alexios received a letter from Sokrates inviting him to visit in Phokis.
You will meet Sokrates' wife named Xanthippe there.

If you lied, you will receive another dialog option.

When you ask her about Sokrates, she will tell you where he probably is and suggest you go there together.

Objectives of A Sokratic Mess
1. Follow Xanthippe
Follow Xanthippe until you meet one of Sokrates' friends.
2. Talk to the man
He will tell you that Sokrates has been arrested and you will find out from him where you can find him.
3. Talk to Sokrates
Sokrates is being held at the Leader House. Kill the guards and go inside.
- (Lie) The guards let me in.

When you go inside, you'll find that Sokrates is satisfied with the fact that he's awaiting the trial. He believes that this way he will be able to think about what Pythia told him and find the answers he is looking for.

- It's not worth the risk.
Alexios will leave the house alone and the quest will end.
4. Quest Completed
Rewards: Rare XP, Epic Drachmae
After completing A Sokratic Mess you will get or will be able to get Finding One's Voice.
