They are usually connected to Treasure Maps, which provide the clues needed to locate the exact spot where a chest is buried. The treasure can be found on islands, beaches, or other locations marked by recognizable landmarks shown on the map.
To collect a Buried Chest, you must first obtain the corresponding Treasure Map and then travel to the location indicated by its coordinates and drawing. Once you reach the correct spot, use the landmarks from the map to identify the exact location. When you are standing in the right place, the "Dig Up" prompt will appear, allowing you to uncover the chest and claim its contents.
