You will be able to start this quest after completing the main quest "The Droidsmith". Follow the intel "The Scavenger #1: Temmin's Family" and "The Scavenger #2: Off Scrapping" and you will reach Temmin. Temmin will upgrade your speeder but it will only be a temporary upgrade. For it to be a permanent upgrade you need to find some parts he doesn't have.
Temmin Wexley slapped a hydro-repulsor on Kay's speeder but he needs durasteel struts to make the upgrade permanent. Kay must recover parts stolen by Surat Nuat's goons before the speeder breaks down.

Your speeder can now move above the water. Get on the speeder that stands right next to you and follow the river until you reach the lake.
You need to reach two small islands located in the south.
First you need to use the ramp located on the northwest side to jump to the first island.
Then you need to hop over to the final island. It will be necessary to use the speed boost here.
Use the grappling point to get to the rocks on the other side and go down the small ravine. There you will encounter two enemies outdoors and a third in the cave. Get rid of them...
...and go through the narrow gap at the end of the cave.
When you do this you will see a departing shuttle.
Quickly hop onto the speeder, which is already waiting for you a few steps ahead, and head east.
Keep going east, cross the lake, and reach a tunnel leading inland.
Drive through the tunnel. ND-5 will check where the shuttle landed and mark this location on your map. Simply drive to this location.
The crate you need to reach is located next to the shuttle which is in an area patrolled by a few guards. Start by sneaking into the area and hide in the tall grass.
The lower area is patrolled by two guards. You can whistle to lure them one by one into the tall grass and quietly bring them down.
After that, you can climb the rocks on the right where another opponent is located.
You can also bring him down quietly.
Then you can use the grappling point to get to the platform where the shuttle is located. The area around the shuttle is patrolled by two guards. The one on the left has an additional pet.
Once you get rid of the opponents, just open the crate.
Temmin will be waiting for you in Myrra, near the landing pad. He will fix and upgrade your speeder thanks to which you will permanently gain a new ability.
Hydrorepulsor
Kay's speeder can travel over larger bodies of water, opening up new areas to explore.
Temmin Wexley will become a new expert, giving you the opportunity to acquire new abilities. Up to three new Key Part Intel will also pop up in your journal.
Temmin Wexley is an Akivan boy whose father was arrested by Imperial forces for carrying messages for the Rebel Alliance. Temmin was left on Akiva by his mother Nora who joined the rebels as a transport pilot. While he was left in the care of his aunt Esmelle and her partner, Temmin has insisted on living alone in his family home, scavenging droid parts and working on various projects.
Allows the speeder to soar over water, enhancing its traversal capabilities.
Allows Kay to perform Takedowns on Elite enemies.

In addition to its base effect, Smoke Bombs now deal ion damage, which temporarily disables devices and disrupts droids in the affected area. Press [Z] to use the Smoke Bomb.
