This quest will begin after talking to Rooster, who you will reach by completing the intel "The Mercenary #1: The Domak Refectory" and its follow-up "The Mercenary #2: Rooster's location".
The mercenary Rooster Trace has retired after the Empire stole her arsenal. She could teach Kay about heavy weapons, with the right motivation.

Return to the Trailblazer and take off into Kijimi orbit.
Follow the marker to the nebula. Visibility is severely limited so watch out for asteroids that may appear along your path. After a while you should reach the Pilot's End where visibility will be much better.
Look for a yellow container floating in between the asteroids.
Approach the cargo crate, and press the prompted button to retrieve the homing beacon data.
If you haven't yet been to Tatooine then you need to make a hyperspace jump to the Tatoo system. Then land on the planet.
Rooster will be waiting for you in the Jundland Wastes area. Talk to her and she will introduce to you to her plan. She wants to blow up the convoy.
Follow her to the place where a few Z-6 Rotary Cannons can be found.
Pick up one of the weapons and fire a few rounds with it.
Just walk up to where Rooster stands. After a short cutscene, a convoy will arrive.
Kill all stormtroopers who get off the transporter. If you run out of ammo then you can get another of the Z-6 cannons that are lying around. Make use of explosive barrels as well.
After a while, stormtrooper on a speeder and another transporter with more stormtroopers will arrive from the west. Kill all stormtroopers who get off it.
After you finish off the first of the reinforcements transport, aanother stormtrooper on a speeder and two more transporters will arrive from the south. Cannon shielding has its undeniable advantages but it is not required that you use Z-6 cannons all the time. You can also, for example, use Adrenaline Rush when available.
Rooster will be waiting for you next to where the first transporter arrived.
Rooster will become a new expert, giving you the opportunity to acquire new abilities. First one of them will be "Can I Try That?"

Kay can pick up and use more advanced weapons, giving her ultimate flexibility in a shoot-out.
Allows Kay to use a broader range of Pick-up weapons by learning how to use High Tier Imperial Weaponry. Press [E] to pick up Weapons.
Increases the amount of Pickup Weapon Ammunition by 25%.
Unlock conditions:
Doubles the distance at which Nix will be able to detect and highlight enemies via the Nix Sense mechanic. Press [B] to use Nix Sense.

Increases the Adrenaline generated by headshots by a High amount.

Tap [space] to execute a 180 degrees turn that will quickly turn the Trailblazer into the opposite direction.

Requires: Loop Maneuver. Hold [space] to execute a 360 degrees top roll maneuver that will position the Trailblazer behind the immediate pursuers.
