Quest stages of Underworld
1. Reach Makal's cantina.
In the city you can only get around on foot. So get off the speeder and enter the city. Forged documents will allow you to pass through the Imperial checkpoint without any problems.
The entrance to the bar is in the western part of the city, so head there.
Enter the cantina. Don't buy a VIP entrance pass from a broker you come across soon after entering the cantina. It's a scam and you'll only lose 50 credits.
2. Talk to the bartender.
Walk up to the bar and talk to the bartender. You will learn that to talk to Gorak you need to get an invitation.
3. Find a way into Gorak's suite.
If you try to call the turbolift, the bartender wont let you to do it, so you have to find another way.
1. The first way to get to the turbolift is to bribe a technician tinkering with the door to the maintenance room located in the hallway to the right of the elevator. However, this will cost you 150 credits.
Once you pay him, you will be able to enter the maintenance room, slice the terminal that is inside maintenance room and open the turbolift door that way.
2. The second way is free of charge. Head to the room located in the back of the cantina, to the left of the turbolift.
Inside the room you will find the entrance to the ventilation duct. To open the hatch you have to use the data spike.
Passing through the tunnel you will get inside the turbolift.
Once you get to the elevator, no matter which way, activate it to take it to the Gorak's room. Another cutscene will trigger - Kay meets with Gorak but she fails to get any work request from him and is forced out. When Kay returns to the cantina she meets Danka who has a job offer for her. Kay accepts her offer.
This is the point where you'll be introduced to another game mechanic - Reputation.
4. Infiltrate Gorak's base
After failing to get work from Gorak and the Pyke Syndicate, an information broker named Danka has set Kay up with a job. Kay must break into Gorak's base and steal some data for an unknown client.
Leave the cantina and return to Mirogana's city centre. As you leave, an unknown person will contact you though a radio and tell you that the Gorak's base is in the Pyke district. A moment later, Waka will actually give you the same, maybe a little more detailed information on where you should go.
Main entrance to the Pyke district is guarded but the Pyke henchmen, who will not let you pass this way. In the small alley to the right of the main entrance you should see the entrance to the ventilation duct. Climb into it and go through it to the other side.
You will get into a restricted area. You can't get caught! If the Pykes spot you, you will be thrown out of the district, meaning you will have to start from the beginning. The path described below is one of the possible routes, but of course not the only one.
Wait for the two guards in front of you to pass, then head to the right. Use the grappling hook at the anchor point and slide down the rope.
Turn left and climb up to the platform above. Sneak to the vent and cross over to the other side.
Move forward by keeping to the left and using cover. Keep an eye at all times on where the two guards patrolling the area are at currently.
Eventually you should see a grating which you can use to climb to the upper level.
Another such grate is located on the other side.
Use either of them to get to the upper level and approach the door that is there. Use the data spike to unlock it.
Head through the vent you find inside.
In the next room descend to the bottom floor, and press the button to call a turbolift.
When the turbolift goes lower, climb back up the ladder to the higher level and walk across the turbolift roof to the platform on the other side. Use Nix to press a button that is out of your reach to call the second turbolift.
When it descends, walk across its roof and climb up the wall on the other side. This way you will get near the hole in the big pipe. Step inside.
To proceed further, you need to stop the large fan. To do this, order Nix to open the shutter...
...and quickly shoot the coil that powers the fan and destroy it.
In the large room you reach after passing through the pipe, use the hook to leap to the other side.
When you climb the ladder, you should eventually reach the Pyke stronghold.
5. Disable the energy barrier.
To enter the tower you must remove the force field. To do this you must find and deactivate two power cores. The area is patrolled by several guards. To keep things quiet it's best, as the game suggests, to start by using binoculars and marking all the guards. This way it will be easier for you to figure out where they are at the moment.
There are two power cores. One is on the right side at ground level. The other one is on the left side, on the raised platform. The cores can be destroyed, or they can be silently turned off using a switch.
One of the cores is located a little to the left, on a platform. You can eliminate the guards silently, for example, using the stun module of your blaster or enlisting Nix.
Another core is located at ground level on the right side of the base. To disable it in a quiet way you must first eliminate the guards standing nearby. Keep an eye out for a guard patrolling the platform above.
6. Break into the tower.
When the force field disappears you will be able to enter the tower. Be aware of the guards who remain.
Once inside, head to the elevator, which will take you to the second floor.
7. Access Gorak's terminal.
Access the terminal. You will get the information you came here for and after slicing the computer another, valuable data.
8. Escape the base.
The alarm sounds and you are attacked by two guards who enter through the door. Get rid of them and head towards the elevator.
Use the data spike to open the broken door.
Then climb up the grids on the walls to the top and enter the ventilation duct you find there.
Using the vent you will reach a room with three guards. Get rid of them. If you want to, you can do it quietly because they are not aware of your presence. Enter the next ventilation duct the entrance to which is near the floor, on the left side.
Through the ventilation duct you will go outside the Pyke base, on a rocky ledge near the landing pads in Mirogana. After a few jumps and a bit of climbing, you should reach the landing pad quite fast.
9. Return to Danka.
Return to Danka, who is waiting for you in the cantina. She will introduce you to the contractor, an agent of the Crimson Dawn known as Eleera.
Now you have to make the choice of which faction to give the valuable information you have gained - Crimson Dawn or Pyke Syndicate.
Regardless of your choice, Eleera will give you the parts you need to repair your ship. Who you choose to give the information to will determine with which faction your reputation will increase.
- Tell Eleera about the Pyke traitor - Your reputation with Crimson Dawn will increase significantly and reach the "Good" level.
- Save the information for Gorak - After talking to Gorak, your reputation in Pyke Syndicate will increase significantly and reach the "Good" level. Your reputation at Crimson Dawn will increase but only slightly and will still remain at the "Poor" level.
After completing Underworld you will get or will be able to get New Tricks and Hutt Cartel Opportunity.
