This mission starts automatically right after the Sixth Kin members leave the Broken Hoof bar at the end of the "Beginnings" quest. Bram will then hand Kay a high-risk contract, one last chance to raise enough funds to leave the planet.
After finishing the conversation with Bram, Kay will automatically leave the bar and step out onto the street, which is being searched by Sixth Kin members. To avoid being spotted, she will hide behind containers.
Bram has a lead on a job with a new crew. It's high-risk but the job will get Kay enough money to get off-world. Considering Sixth Kin are looking for her, it seems like the only option left.

To begin Outlaws you must first complete Beginnings.
Quest stages of Outlaws
1. Meet up with the crew.
The street is overrun by Sixth Kin members and you can't be seen by them, so stay crouched and follow Nix into the alley to the left.
Proceed through the alley ahead until you reach a wall with ledges that you can climb over. These will get you to the roof.
Move across the rooftops until you reach the hook point.
Use the grappling hook and swing to the rooftop on the other side.
Drop down and then squeeze through the narrow path between the yellow pipes.
Follow the path ahead and eventually you will reach the crew.
Kay will board their vehicle, and they will take her to the location where the next objective of this mission begins.
2. Break into the mansion.
When you get off the vehicle move ahead and squeeze between the rocks. When you do this, the first of the experts - Bram - will be unlocked, allowing you to gain new abilities. Check the "Abilities" tab and the requirements you need to meet to unlock new abilities. Soon you will have the opportunity to unlock one of them - Fast-Talk.
The Bartender Abilities
Fast-Talk
Allows Kay to quickly react to nearby alerted enemies and delay their reaction. Press [E] when prompted to briefly distract the alerted enemy.
Unlock conditions:
- Use takedown on distracted enemies x 3
- Defeat enemies with melee x 5
Keep Talking
Requires: Fast-Talk
Allows Fast-Talk to affect every nearby enemy. Press [E] when prompted to briefly distract every enemy within a medium radius.
Unlock conditions:
- Defeat enemies affected by Fast-Talk using the Stun Shot x 6
Armored Undershirt
Increases Kay's maximum Health.
Unlock conditions:
- Ironweave
- Coarseweave x 8
I Know Someone
Unlocks the ability to see and fulfill Personal Requests. Find merchants with the Requests category to find new opportunities.
Unlock conditions:
- Meet different merchants x 6
- Spend credits at merchants x 1000
By jumping over rock ledges, climbing and using a grappling hook get to walls of the Sliro's mansion. On the way you will get some additional information from Dennion.
Then climb up the wall to the top of the tower and go inside.
You will reach the courtyard of the mansion. Your next task once you regain control of your character is to get to the main building.
Large stretches of the mansion's courtyard are covered with long grass. While crouching in grass, you remain undetected by enemies.
Use the Nix senses to reveal nearby enemies. The first of the guards you should get rid of is patrolling the small bridge on the right. Proceed to the tall grass near the bridge and whistle to lure the guard to you. Wait for him to come closer to you, use Nix to distract him and take him silently down.
Discreetly, so that you won't be noticed by the other guards, move to the tall grass on the other side of the bridge. In the same way as with the first guard, get rid of the guard who patrols the area on that side.
Go up the stairs to the upper ground and eliminate another guard in the same way as before.
Now you can climb the stairs located a little farther to the upper ground, where the entrance to the building is located. There you will encounter three more guards patrolling the vicinity, one near the entrance and two a little further to the left. If you previously managed to knock down three guards while they were distracted, try to eliminate at least two more guards in melee, and you will then complete all the requirements to unlock a new ability - Fast-Talk.
Enter the building. After passing through the door, they will close behind you.
3. Break into the vault.
Use the data spike to open the door leading to the next room and move on.
The passage to the next room is blocked by a red energy barrier. Use Nix's senses to reveal the wires leading from the barrier to a small room further in.
Head there, enter the room and toggle the switch on the wall. This will turn off the energy field and you will be able to move on.
Keep walking down the corridor, at the end of it you will come across a security camera. Shooting at or getting spotted by cameras will reveal your position and trigger an alarm.
You can see the area the camera is currently monitoring by watching the white outline on the floor. Wait for the outline to move to one side of the corridor, then walk along the opposite side.
After passing the camera, turn right. You will see a staircase with another red energy barrier at the top, blocking an access to the elevator, and two guards. Wait for one of the guards to walk away and get rid of the guard who is still standing still and then eliminate the other one.
Go through the ventilation duct, the entrance to which is at the base of the staircase,...
...and then use the data spike to open the locked door.
You will enter the kitchen and then the lounge area. These rooms are patrolled by two guards. Get rid of them, preferably quietly.
Enter through the door located to the right of the bar. Flip the switch you find there and this will disable the red barrier blocking access to the elevator.
Take the opportunity to loot the rest of the rooms, such as the bedroom located behind the closed door.
You can deactivate the camera in the corridor by using the button you'll find on the wall nearby.
Then return to the staircase, for example, using the same ventilation duct you got here and enter the elevator.
When the elevator stops and the doors open, you will come across another guard. Eliminate him quickly, then go through the door next to the elevator. This is the only way because access to the vault is protected by a force field.
Follow the only possible way forward, that is, down the corridor, then into the room on the right and continue forward until you reach a door that can be opened with a data spike.
Behind the next door you'll find a control room in which you'll come across another guard. He will be busy talking so you can eliminate him easily. Once he is down, interact with the computer terminal.
Now it's time for our first slicing mini-game. The goal is to set the correct sequence of the glyphs. If you enter a glyph, and the computer highlights it in red, it means that it is not in the sequence. If the computer highlights it in yellow, it means that it is in the sequence, but not in the right place. If the computer highlights it in blue, it means that it is in the sequence and in the right place.
After you manage to hack the computer, the door to the hallway will open and you will be able to approach the vault. After a short cutscene you will be able to step inside.
4. Activate the vault door
Walk up to the terminal in front of you and use it.
Another cutscene will play, revealing what was really in the vault. Unfortunately, events did not go Kay's way, setbacks occurred and eventually Kay has to flee.
5. Escape from the mansion.
After regaining control, kill the guard that stands in your way, then run towards the elevator. When you reach the elevator, a door on its left will open and two more guards will attack you. Shoot them both, then proceed down the corridor they came out of.
Enter the room on the right and open the entrance to the ventilation duct. Get inside. It will lead you to a service tunnel with a large fan.
In order to move on you must stop the fan. You can do this by shooting at and destroying the power core above.
When you slide down the ramp, enter another ventilation shaft.
It will take you to the hangar where the spaceship is parked.
6. Steal the ship.
There are a lot of guards in the hangar, and you need to reach the ramp of the spaceship. Before you are detected by the guards, try to get rid of as many of them as possible. The easiest way to achieve this will be to use Nix to make the red containers, quite a lot of which are in the hangar, explode.
When you are spotted, just run as fast as possible towards the ship and board it, then you will be safe.
Kay will take off and you will still have to press the appropriate key / buttons to leave the hangar.
After a while you will make a hyperspace jump that will take you to the next planet - Toshara.
This quest will end and another - Crashed - will begin.
After completing Outlaws you will get or will be able to get Crashed.
