Breakout Star Wars Outlaws Quest

This quest starts automatically after completing the "Gunsmith" quest. Krisk from the Ashiga clan contacts you over the radio and suggests that you both have a meeting.

Kay has made a deal with Queen Ashiga to release Ank from the weapons factory, but the Queen's daughter Krisk, the heir to the Ashiga Clan throne, has contacted Kay to discuss an alternative.

To begin Breakout you must first complete Gunsmith.

Quest stages of Breakout

1. Talk to Krisk.

Head to the Domak Refectory cantina. Krisk, and she is not the only one, will be waiting for you at the table located in the VIP area on the second floor. A cutscene will start. Krisk and Qi'ra, who is the boss of Crimson Dawn on Kijimi, claim that the only way to free Ank is to dethrone the queen and put Krisk in her place. Kay receives from them a key that allows to get into the factory where Ank is being held.

Krisk is colluding with Qi'ra from Crimson Dawn to take down the Queen and lay claim of the Ashiga Clan throne. They have given Kay access to Ank in the Ashiga Clan weapons factory in exchange for her help with the coup.

2. Reach the weapons factory.

The entrance to the tunel that leads to the factory is located in the southwestern part of the city. As Krisk promised, the guards guarding the gate will let you go inside.

ND-5 has arranged that the speeder is waiting for you in the tunnel. So get on the speeder and ride it until you reach the collapsed part of the tunnel and have to continue on foot. Head through the hole in the wall to your right.

Go through the narrow passage between the rocks and after a second you will reach a huge cave where the factory is located. Krisk will radio you and give you some information, such as which cell Ank is being held in.

3. Infiltrate the weapons factory.

The place you need to reach is the door located on the other side. You can go there by sneaking through the left or right side of the cave. To make your task easier, you can start by pulling out your binoculars and marking all the guards you have in sight.

I took the route through the right side of the cave. There are two guards at the landing pad there, one is tinkering with the ship and has his back turned to you all the time and the other is patrolling back and forth the area to the right of the ship. Take the moment when the patrolling one isn't looking in your direction, step off the rocks onto the landing pad and hide behind the crates.

Then knock down the guard standing in front of you. Fortunately, he too does not look in your direction. I don't know if the guard patrolling the footbridge on the left is able to spot you, but you'd better keep an eye on him.

4. Find Ank.

Climb the yellow grate and proceed to the platform, where you can enter a large pipe with a broken fan.

When you jump down through the opening located at the other end of the pipe, you will find yourself on the other side of the yellow grate you climbed a moment earlier. At the place where there is no railing, jump down to the generators below, and then climb up the handles to the platform on the other side.

Jump through the yellow hatch in the floor into the center of another large ventilation duct. Continue walking straight until you reach the passage located on the left. Continue through it.

5. Reach Ank.

To move on you must stop the big fan. Start by climbing up the railing located to the right of the window.

Proceed to the other side of the room and drop down to the platform below.

Ask Nix to press the button on the other side. This will cause the large fan to stop and you will be able to enter the pipe.

Proceed to to the other end of the pipe and drop down through the opening. You'll land in the room where Ank is. Cutscene will start. Qi'ra apparently hasn't told you everything about what they plan to do. Ank will ask you to retrieve her belongings.

6. Reach the locker room.

Hide behind the crates and wait until the droid and the nearest guard are not looking in your direction and then cross to the other side of the room where the entrance to the ventilation duct is located.

On the other side, just above the exit from the vent duct, there are handles that you can climb on.

Then climb to the end of the room and drop down onto the top of the shelf with hexagonal containers. The guards below won't notice you.

Before you try to unlock the door, make sure the droid patrolling the room is far away and not looking in your direction and then use the data spike to unlock the door.

7. Retrieve Ank's belongings.

...and then pick up the Ank's lucky charm lying on the window sill. When you do this, Ank will blow up the gate visible through the window and begin his escape.

8. Help Ank escape the factory.

Exit through the door on the left side of the room and drop down through the hole in the floor. Move ahead towards the closed gate. There is a narrow gap in the wall to the right of the gate. Squeeze through it and push forward.

You will reach a huge cave. Drop down to the platform below. Look to the right and you will see a capacitor. Switch the blaster to Ion mode and shoot the capacitor. The rail with crates will start moving.

Wait for the crate to pass by you and jump on it to cling to its side. Wait for the crate to take you to the other side, drop down and hide behind the crates.

The platform is guarded by three guards and a droid. You need to get to the grappling point located at the edge of the platform, on its left side. You can, of course, try to sneak in there, but a much simpler solution is to get rid of the enemies, no reinforcements will come.

Start by using stun mode and shoot the guard patrolling the platform when he is in the middle.

His death should alert the droid and the guard standing on the platform above, and they should approach the corpse. Then you should shoot the clip on which a large red barrel above is attached. It will fall down causing an explosion that will kill the droid and the guard and also raise a lot of smoke.

9. Disable the energy barrier.

The guards on the other side are easiest to get rid of by shooting at the red barrel they are standing next to. Possibly, you will have to finish off one of them with a blaster, the one standing farthest to the left.

Use the grappling hook, swing to the other side and then climb up the grate and handles to the top. Don't go out on the platform right away because the guards can spot you. There are three of them in total, two a little closer and the third a little further away. If you get detected, additional guards will come out of the elevator.

Wait until the guard on the left goes farther away and the one on the right goes farther to the right and then step out onto the platform, switch your blaster to stun mode and shoot the guard on the left.

10. Help Ank escape the factory.

As soon as the energy barrier is deactivated, quickly move to the right because one guard is coming down the elevator to you. Take cover and kill him.

Get on the elevator. The elevator will move up but stop halfway. Take cover and be ready that in a moment two guards will run out from the left. Kill them by shooting the red barrel next to which they stop.

Moments later, two more guards will come from the right. Finish them as well by shooting an explosive barrel.

When all the guards are dead, the elevator will proceed up. As soon as you reach the top, immediately hide on the right side of the crates in front of you. A droid and a guard will come from the opposite side and stop. When you wait a while in hiding, they should move forward, so you can bypass them and move on.

Go ahead and take the stairs down. Up ahead you should spot Ank.

When you go through the gate, the shooting will begin. Opponents will be appearing on the other side of the tracks. Take your time, take cover behind the railings, eliminate the appearing enemies by shooting them and the explosive barrels, and move slowly forward. Opponents can't approach you, but watch out for the grenades they can throw.

When all opponents are dead then you will be able to go through the door at the end of the platform.

11. Secure the area.

A rifle you find on the rack can help you complete this task. In the room behind the next door there are three guards. You can quickly eliminate the first one with a shot at the red barrel he is standing next to as soon as the door opens.

12. Talk to Ank.

When you clear the room then go up the stairs and take a left. Approach the platform where Ank is waiting for you and talk to her.

A cutscene will start. Kay introduces Ank to what the job she needs her for is. Ank doesn't want to pick up a new assignment until she completes her task for Qi'ra.

13. Leave the weapons factory.

When Ank moves away, Jaylen contacts you and suggests that you help Ank with her assignment for Qi'ra because when she finishes it she will certainly be interested in working with you.

Move forward along the passage, and after a while you will come out to the main cave.

All enemies are gone and you need to reach the gap through which you got here at the very beginning of this quest.

When you leave the cave, this quest will end and the next quest - "The Hive" - will pop up in your journal. After completing this quest, your reputation in Crimson Dawn will increase moderately.

After completing Breakout you will get or will be able to get The Hive and Hidden Archive.
