Objectives of That's Murfree Country
1. Talk to Charles / Follow Charles / (Optional) Get into the canoe / Go to Butcher Creek
Come up to Charles and ask him if he'll go with you. Charles will agree and you will go on the road together. Charles knows the way.
Soon after leaving the camp, Charles will ask you how you want to get to your destination. You can choose to go on horseback, or by canoe. In my opinion, riding a horse will be faster.
Depending on what you have chosen, when you reach the bridge over the river you will either change to a boat or go further on horseback. Anyway, in both cases you will arrive at the destination after dark.
2. Follow Charles / Take out the Murfrees
When you get to the place, you'll get off your horses and start sneaking around. You should follow Charles.
You'll sneak up on two opponents. Charles will tell you to take out one of them while he takes out the other. Use your bow, throwing knife, or tomahawk and kill one of the Murfrees silently. It's best to aim for his head to get the first headshot.
3. Follow Charles / Approach the cave / Take out the Murfrees
Then follow Charles again until you reach the entrance to the cave.
You can use dynamite to lure a few Murfrees out of the cave, or sneak up on them. In my opinion, choosing to sneak will be an easier solution.
You shouldn't have a problem with silently killing an opponent at the entrance ...
... or the next one that's a little deeper.
A little further you'll come across two men who are close together. You can kill at least one of them quietly or use Dead Eye.
Anyway, at some point you will be detected and no more sneaking will be possible. Take out the Murfrees who will be coming towards you and proceed deeper into the cave. Use Dead Eye and aim at their heads and you shouldn't have much trouble completing the gold medal requirements.
4. Open the cage / Go to Annesburg
When the area is clear, go to a woman locked in a cage at the end of a cave, calm her down and open the cage.
You'll get out of the cave together. Charles will return to Lakay to inform the gang about the new place and your job will be to take the woman to her home in Annesburg.
Go to Annesburg as fast as you can. If you want to earn the gold medal, you must stay within the time limit. The road is long and curvy, but you can take a few shortcuts.
As a thank you for saving her daughter, Meredith's mother will want to give you some cash. You can accept or reject her offer. If you refuse, your honor will increase.
When you get back to the new camp, you'll witness a quarrel between Dutch and Molly. Molly will confess her betrayal, for which she will be severely punished by Miss Grimshaw. This is the last mission of the fifth chapter of the game.
