To unlock this mission, you need to visit 3 murder scenes and collect killer clue notes (map fragments) from the cut-off heads of the victims. Click on the links below to find out where each clue is located:
This way you get the whole map and you will be able to find the murderer's underground lair.
After piecing together a map from scraps found near the bodies of the victims, a killer's underground lair is discovered.

Objectives of American Dreams
1. Explore the basement / Inspect the knife
Go down to the basement, proceed to the last area and examine the knife.
When you do that, you'll suddenly be attacked from behind by a stranger and knocked to the ground.
2. Subdue the stranger / Hogtie the stranger
Whenever possible, throw the head of one of the killer's victims lying next to you in your attacker to surprise him that way.
Then knock him down in a fistfight and hogtie him.
3. Pick up the stranger / Turn the stranger at the Sheriff's Office / Drop the stranger close to the Sheriff's desk
Load the killer on the back of your horse, ride to the sherrif's office in Valentine and drop him in front of the sheriff's desk. The killer's name is Edmund Lowry Jr.
When the sheriff takes the killer to his cell, he'll free himself and attack the sheriff.
4. Help the sheriff by shooting Edmund / Collect your reward from the Sheriff's desk
Kill Edmund. If you delay, the sheriff will free himself, but then he will be very angry with you and you can forget about the reward.
If you've helped the sheriff, he'll put 20 bucks on the desk you can take.
