Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission Paying a Social Call.

To start this mission you need to complete the Paying a Social Call mission and then talk to Dutch. You will find him in his tent in the Horseshoe Overlook camp. After a while, Lenny's gonna join you and tell you about arresting one of your gang members - Micah.

Arthur takes Lenny for a quiet drink in Valentine to help to calm him down after learning of Micah's arrest in Strawberry.

Objectives of A Quiet Time

1. Mount your horse / Ride to the Valentine saloon / Go to the bar

Get on your horse and go to the Valentine. Lenny will follow you.

Enter Smithfields Saloon and lean on the bar. You order drinks, and you start talking and drinking with Lenny.

At some point, you'll be interrupted by a weird guy who'll mimic you. Get rid of him, preferably in a peaceful way.

You'll have a few more drinks with Lenny and at some point you'll notice that Lenny has disappeared somewhere.

2. Find Lenny in the saloon

Before you start looking for Lenny, talk to Tommy, the guy you fought on the street in the Americans at Rest mission. You'll find him sitting at one of the tables. This is necessary if you want to earn a gold medal. Talk to him four times. Tommy won't be very talkative, but that's enough.

You'll find Lenny on the top floor where he's playing with a glass. Go up to him to continue drinking.

After a while, you'll find out that Lenny's disappeared again. Come downstairs, you'll find him near the bar.

The fun will be all over the place.

You'll lose consciousness for a while. When you get it back, you'll be pissing at the back of the bar.

Go back to the saloon. All the people in the saloon have Lenny's face.

To complete the next requirement for a gold medal ("Catch Lenny in the act"), go to the top floor (turn left on the half floor and then right at the top of the stairs), find and enter room 1A.

When you leave the room, wander around the saloon a little more. After a while, Lenny will find you by himself and you will start slapping each other. At the end of the day, you'll end up at the bar, drinking more and more.

You will be harassed again by a strange guy you've got rid of once before. This time you'll go outside and Arthur will start drowning him in a trough for horses. Anyway, at some point the guy will get free and run away.

3. Escape the law

The guy you tried to drown will bring in the officers of the law. They will catch Lenny and they will try to catch you.

You need to get away from them. Run down the alley to the back of the saloon. Watch out for the pillars and the barrel. As soon as you are behind the saloon, turn right, run towards the fence and jump over it.

If you do it correctly, you will wake up away from the city with a giant hangover, and you will pass one of the requirements to earn a gold medal.

If you don't escape, you both will end up in prison, but you'll be released for a small fee. Lenny will pay for both of you.
