Guide Stands

Guide Stands are used for fast travel within the region you are in. You will unlock the ability to use them when you reach the Sandy Oasis in Alabasta.

Cube Fragments

Cube Fragments are fragments of lost experience. To use, open the Skill Up screen from the Crew screen, and power up a skill by placing a fragment into an open skill box. Fragments can be swapped at any time.

Locked Treasure Chests

There are a total of 22 Locked Treasure Chests, 4 of which are located in Alabasta. To open these chests you need a special key which you will get when you complete all side stories involving the "Zoners".

Desert Near Nanohana Locked Treasure Chest Contains: Waford Crown - A cube fragment containing extracted power of superior technology from Waford's days as a Sky Island (HP Drain +20%). To get here Franky must be with you, because he can build the bridge.

Great Sandy Desert Locked Treasure Chest Contains: TP Regen Jewelry - Regenerates TP every time you receive damage (TP Regen + 50).

Great Sandy Desert Locked Treasure Chest Contains: Evasion +20 Jewelry - Increases evasion rate (Lucky Evade +20%). To get here Franky must be with you, because he can build the bridge.

Nanohana Locked Treasure Chest Contains: TP Cost Reduction Jewelry - Lowers the TP cost for skills (TP Efficiency +50%).

Hungry Navi Bird This quest will be available after talking to the NPC you will meet near the entrance to the Ravine of No Return. Objectives: Collect 10 desert nuts and bring them to Navi Bird. Rewards: Navi Bird's Lost Item, Navi Bird will show you the right way when crossing the desert.

Master and Student Rematch Talk to Kung Fu Dugong. Objectives: (1) Fight the Kung Fu Dugongs, (2) Cook something. Rewards: Bo Bo Bird Breast x 5.

Bridges

To build the Bridges it is necessary for Franky to rejoin the team. This will happen at a relatively late stage of the game's main storyline. You will also need to collect the right amount of materials such as screws (Steel Bolts, Carbon Bolts, or Wootz Steel Bolts) and junk.

Alabasta Bridge #1 Required items: Carbon Bolt x 2, Junk x 10. You will be able to build this bridge once Franky joins your team.

Memoria Cubes

Using the Memoria Cubes you find at the beginning of each Memoria, you can return to the Strange Place and then travel to another available region. The cubes can be used after completing the Memoria in which they are located.

Save Points

Save points will record your progress and restore your health. If everyone gets knocked out, you will start over from your last save point.

Crabby Ports

Crabby Ports are an additional way to move around Alabasta. When you unlock this possibility then you will be able to travel from one port to another.
