The Crimson Moon Ghostwire: Tokyo Mission
Group: Side Missions
This side mission will be made available after you use the binoculars located on the Kagerie observation deck. This will take place during the mission "A Maze of Death". To start this mission you must pick up the phone and listen to the recording left by Ed.
Ed wants KK to collect some observation data regarding the moon hanging in the sky over Shibuya. To that end, Akito and KK head off in search of some locations with a good view of the moon.

Objectives of The Crimson Moon
1. Pick up the observation device from the locker
You can find the device in one of the lockboxes located nearby.
2. Acquire lunar analysis data (0/3)
The map will highlight three areas you should visit to do so.
At the southernmost location, you need to get to the roof of a tall building under construction. To do this, climb up the scaffolding to the elevator located at the side of the building and use it to get a little higher.
Switch to the another elevator. This one will take you to the roof of the building. Be prepared to fight some visitors - Wanderers, you come across there.
After destroying the corruption that obstructs the way, you will be able to get to the platform at the very top.
Get on the platform, use the device and aim it at the moon to perform analysis. Wait until the analysis process is complete.
To get to the roof of the next tall building you can start by grappling up to Tengu.
From there, use the three escalators one by one.
Grapple to the next tengu.
Climb up the ladder and use the elevator. This way you will reach the roof of the building.
On the roof you will encounter a large group of opponents - Wanderers. Get rid of them all and climb the ladder to the highest part of the roof. From there you will be able to perform another analysis of the moon.
You can get to the roof of the northernmost building by first using the fire escape stairs you'll find on its western side...
...and then using the elevator.
Once on the roof, you will additionally have to use a ladder to get to its highest part from where you can conduct analysis.
3. Send Ed the lunar analysis data
Go back to the phone booth where you started this mission and send the data. Then pick up the phone and listen to the message from Ed.
After a while this mission will end and you will receive rewards for completing it.
Akito transmits their findings to Ed, who seems to have some sort of epiphany after analyzing the data. Alas, said epiphany goes right over everyone else's heads.
