Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission Into the Bliss.
To begin this mission, complete the Into the Bliss mission and talk to Joseph Seed, who you will find in Joseph's Sanctuary.
Hunt and destroy the beast within.
Joseph's Sanctuary

Follow him to the top of the destroyed dam. When you get there, he will tear off the apple from the tree and give it to you. When you eat it, the test will begin.
After eating an apple, you will lose consciousness for a moment and wake up in a new place. Instead of your default weapons you will be equipped with an Optimized Recurve Bow only and an infinite number of arrows.
Move forward. After a while you should see a flash of violet light and a giant bear will appear. His red belly is his weak spot so try to hit it when he's standing on his hind legs. Jump aside as he charges. When you inflict enough damage to the bear, the four beacons in the area will go out and a new phase will begin.
In this phase the bear will try to quickly reach you. When you hit it with an arrow it will immediately disappear and almost instantly appear in another place. And so over and over again.
So try to light all the beacons again as soon as possible. Ziplines can help you to quickly move around.
When all beacons are lit, the phase will change again and you will be able to continue the fight against the bear.
When his life drops low enough, the beacons will go out and you will have to light them again.
Proceed exactly the same as before, quickly light the four beacons.
This time the fight against the bear will look different. Joseph will make you very strong and you will fight with the bear in close combat.
When the fight is over, you will return to reality and together with Joseph you will go to New Hope.
Talk to Joseph to complete the mission.
The next mission you will have to do, if you haven't done it yet, is to return to Prosperity and improve it to the next level - Upgrade Prosperity mission. If you have already done so, the next mission will be Homecoming.
Return to Eden - Bring the Father back to New Eden.
