By touching a riftstone, the Arisen can travel to the bridge atwixt worlds, which a great many pawns traverse as they journey beyond the rift. This allows the Arisen to summon pawns who meet their specified preferences.
These pawns will not level up while they are accompanying you, however, so you may find that you need to hire new support pawns at regular intervals.
Forgotten riftstones can be found in various locations throughout the world, and when you touch one, one of two events will occur:
- The riftstone will be restored. You will be able to use the restored riftstone to summon unique pawns, of a different nature to those that can be summoned in town.
- A high-level pawn will be summoned. A single high-level pawn will be summoned, after which the riftstone will disappear. You will be able to hire this pawn without paying any rift crystals.
