Use of a Ferrystone will instantly transport you to the location of a Portcrystal. Portcrystals are permanent fixtures of cities and towns, but you may also place your own Portcrystals at destinations of your choice.

You may have up to ten Portcrystals placed at various locations throughout the world at any one time. Once placed, a Portcrystal can be recovered if you wish to move it somewhere else. Permanent Portcrystals in cities and towns must be interacted with at least once before they become available as Ferrystone destinations.
