This is a support quest for the Odyssey Into the Past quest.
Legends say Anaphi was home to many things horrible, but none so horrible as Polyphemos, the lurking monster... The one waiting for Alexios to stumble into his dark home.

Hints:
In the cave you will meet Polyphemos. It's a good-hearted, slightly stupid big guy.
You can use force and kill him or be nice and help him.
If you decide to kill Polyphemos then in his corpse you will find Spices (Quest Item) and the quest will end.
If you decide to help the big guy then you will have to follow him.
When he is attacked by a wild animal, simply kill them.
You will still be able to kill him and take spices from his corpse but if you are nice to him, he will give you Spices (Quest Item) as a gift.
Rewards: Rare XP, Rare Drachmae.
At the end of the conversation, Polyphemos will tell you he is looking for a friend. This may be the Eurylochos you meet while doing Beware the Siren Call quest. If Eurylochos is already on your ship, he will come and join the big guy.
