Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Followers of Truth.
This quest will be carried out in a different way depending on which of the brothers you have pointed out as the culprit.
Herodotos knew it was either Theodoros or Mestor who was responsible for the Followers of Ares and the death of his parents. With Alexios's input, it was time to accuse the culprit.

You'll find Theodoros in the village, inside his family house. If you have chosen Mestor as the culprit, then you will have to warn him, and if you have chosen Theodoros as the culprit, then you will have to interrogate him.
In both cases the conversation with Theodoros will not be pleasant for Herodotos and in the end Theodoros will leave you to check something himself.
You and Herodotos, when you leave the house, will be attacked by a few opponents.
Hints:
Theodoros will run to Herodotos who is waiting on the hill. Run after him or just join them on the hill and talk to Herodotos.
If you've pointed out Mestor as the culprit, Theodoros will stop holding a grudge against you. Otherwise, he'll still be unwilling to do so.
As soon as you get close to Mestor, you'll be attacked by him.
Mestor will tell you about the incoming Persian fleet.

After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest Defense of Samos.
