Tales of Baghdad

Tales of Baghdad are short side quests. Unlike main quests they do not show any quest markers, meaning they require some searching to complete them.

A Life's WorkTalk to the sick man sitting on the bench. The man will start moving, follow him and when he collapses then help him to get up. He will then ask you to find three pages.
Blade In The Crowd, Tool In The ShedTalk to the boy. Head with him to the nearby square and defeat all the enemies there. Then talk to the boy again. Whether you are detected or not is not important.
Curse Of The Si'la'Talk to the man you meet in the abandoned village. Then you will need to investigate seven clues.
Holy MissionTalk to the monk you find here. Then go to the northern end of the cemetery, and check out the small tombstone with red flowers growing on it. Defeat the soldiers who show up and talk to the monk one more time.
Leap of the FaithfulClimb the tower with a viewpoint to the platform where the kid is standing and talk to him. Then take a leap of faith into the hay. Leave the hay and wait a moment until the kid also jumps into the hay. Talk to him one more time.
Treasure HuntTalk to the woman standing at the entrance of the locked house. Then dive and enter the house through the sunken tunnel. Unblock the door, find the blue vase and bring it to the woman.

Enigmas

Enigmas. Each Enigma scroll contains a map or clues to a particular location. Solve the riddle and go to the indicated spot to obtain new Outfit Dyes and Talismans.

A ChallengeOn a wooden balcony located on one of the walls of the building.
A Gift for YouThis scroll is inside the building, the same one Qiyan (Singing Girls) Historical Site is in. To get inside you have to throw a throwing dagger at the block on the opposite window.
A Holy HoardThis scroll rests on a shelf, on the first floor of one of the buildings.
Delight by the DomeThis scroll is located on a shelf, under the arches, on the north side of the mosque.
Find What I Stole!You will find the scroll in a small encampment located in a secluded corner at the base of the wall, on the bank of the river.
Joy Beneath Weeping PalmsThis scroll is at the base of the tomb with a domed canopy.
Just RewardsThis scroll is on the balcony located directly above the gate.
Left BehindYou will find the scroll inside the building on the floor next to the corpse. The door is barred from the inside so to get inside collapse the rack covering the window.
Reap from the RuinsYou will find the scroll in the building, it rests on the floor next to the corpse.
Solve This Problem Quickly For MeThis scroll is in the restricted area, on a bench under the pergola located on the terrace.
SurrenderThis scroll sits on one of the tombstones.
The GiftYou will find this scroll on a table in a canopied gazebo located on the roof of the building.

Enigma Treasures

Enigmas. Each Enigma scroll contains a map or clues to a particular location. Solve the riddle and go to the indicated spot to obtain new Outfit Dyes and Talismans.

A Challenge TreasureIt's inside the water mill building. To get inside, find the window behind the water wheel and use a throwing dagger to break the lock on another window. It contains: Black Rostam Outfit Dye.
A Gift for You TreasureIt's in a defunct fountain located here. It contains Bedouin Talisman.
A Holy Hoard TreasureThis you will find at the foot of the big tree that grows here. It contains the Tan Abbasid Knight Outfit Dye.
Delight by the Dome TreasureIt's at the bottom of a small, shallow pond. It contains: Mysterious Talisman.
Find What I Stole! TreasureIt is located inside a wooden gazebo. It contains: Black Zanj Uprising Outfit Dye.
Joy Beneath Weeping Palms TreasureUnder a pile of rocks, next to a small campsite set among palm trees. It cointains: Green Hidden One Outfit Dye.
Just Rewards TreasureIt's outdoor, on the south side of Shurta Headquarters, in a restricted area. It contains Black Abbasid Knight Outfit Dye.
Left Behind TreasureYou will find it in a small fishing settlement, near the pier. It contains: Horned Lion Talisman.
Reap from the Ruins TreasureYou can find it next to a dead tree. It's guarded by a snake. It contains: Eldritch Talisman.
Solve This Problem Quickly For Me TreasureYou'll find it among the ruins near a granary with a white-painted top. It contains Gold Hidden One Outfit Dye.
Surrender TreasureOn the ground next to a collapsed building with a domed roof. It contains: Rebel's Talisman.
The Gift TreasureOn the river bank near the rocks, not far from the wooden bridge. It contains: Knight's Talisman.

Dervis’ Artifacts

You will be able to collect Dervis’ Artifacts only after meeting Dervis, this happens at the end of the main quest "Nur's Contact". The artifacts can be acquired by pickpocketing specific civilians.

Gear Chests

Abbasid Knight Dagger Set #1In a room located directly above the main gate of The Great Garrison. It's guarded by an armored warrior.
Abbasid Knight Dagger Set #2Inside the Bazaar, in a room that you will visit during one of the main quests. To get in there earlier, you have to destroy the lock on the door by throwing a knife from the balcony on the opposite side.
Abbasid Knight Dagger Set #3It's in a room located at the top of the Qasr Salih. The hole in the roof can be created with the explosive red jar which you will find a level below.
Abbasid Knight Outfit Set #1It's outside, in the Officers' Club restricted area.
Abbasid Knight Outfit Set #2The chest is located in a room you can access from the main courtyard of Monastery of the Virgins. To get there you must move the bookcase covering the entrance.
Abbasid Knight Outfit Set #3This chest is at the upper floor of the Tax Collector's Mansion. You can get there through the door on the balcony located on the side of the central courtyard, where the fountain is.
Abbasid Knight Sword Set #1On the upper floor of the building you can get to through the window. Inside you must move two shelves blocking access to the chest. To open the chest you need to get the Scholar's Estate Chest Key.
Abbasid Knight Sword Set #2this chest is on the upper floor of the Scriptorium building. It's guarded by a Horn Bearer.
Abbasid Knight Sword Set #3The chest is in the House of Wisdom tower. To get to this chest you must throw a knife through the window to drop the chandelier on the explosive jars standing below. You also need to get the Astronomical Library Key, which you will use to open the door on the lower floor.
Hidden One Dagger Set #1To get inside the building, move the rack blocking the entrance. To open the chest, you'll need the Watermill Chest Key.
Hidden One Dagger Set #2This gear chest is in the cave at the end of the mine underneath the Dur-Kurigalzu. The entrance to the mine is located at the foot of the viewpoint.
Hidden One Dagger Set #3To get to the chest you must throw a dagger at the pulley on which the platform with red jars hangs.
Hidden One Outfit Set #1In the top room of the Mazalim Courts tower. You can get here through the window after destroying the window lattice.
Hidden One Outfit Set #2This chest is on the roof of Shurta Headquarters.
Hidden One Outfit Set #3This chest is inside the Al-Jahiz's House. To get inside, you must blow up the roof by throwing an explosive jar at it. You will find the red jar a level below. If you position the nearby racks properly, you will be able to climb up them to the higher level while carrying the jar.
Hidden One Sword Set #1It's in a tree house in the Spymaster's Camp.
Hidden One Sword Set #2This chest is inside the building. To get inside, climb through the window to the second floor, stand on the wooden grille in the middle of the room, and then throw the throwing dagger and destroy the lock on the front door.
Hidden One Sword Set #3It can be found in the restricted area of the Southern Camp. It is guarded by a number of enemies.
Milad's OutfitIt's in the secret cave. To get here use the Isu Cave Entrance. It requires 5 Mysterious Shards to unlock.
Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar (Sword)It's in the secret cave. To get here use the Isu Cave Entrance. It requires 3 Mysterious Shards to unlock.
The Samsaama (Dagger)It's in the secret cave. To get here use the Isu Cave Entrance. It requires 2 Mysterious Shards to unlock.
Zanj Uprising Dagger Set #1
Zanj Uprising Dagger Set #2First, get the Four Markets Storage Key, then use it to unlock the locked door under a purple awning. Get inside, pick up a red jar and thow it at the rock wall on the other side of the building. You also need to climb to the roof and throw the dagger through the window at the red jars standing inside, which will create a hole in the ceiling through which you will climb to the upper level.
Zanj Uprising Dagger Set #3The chest is in a room on the roof of The Great Bimaristan. To unlock the door toss a throwing knife through the window located on the opposite side. Then go inside and move the bookcase blocking access to the chest.
Zanj Uprising Outfit Set #1This chest is in the room on the back of the ship's deck. To access the chest you have to solve a "racks-pushing puzzle".
Zanj Uprising Outfit Set #2It's on the roof of Khurasan Gate Guardhouse. To get to it destroy the vases and push the left rack forward. Now toss a knife through the opening between the two racks to destroy another vase. Now you can push the right rack forward. Destroy set of vases covering the hole by the floor.
Zanj Uprising Outfit Set #3You can find this chest in a room on the first floor of the Prince's Palace.
Zanj Uprising Sword Set #1This chest is in the room underneath the front entrance to the prison. To get there you must throw a throwing knife and destroy the lock on the door.
Zanj Uprising Sword Set #2It's in the central building of the Soap Boiler's District, on the second floor. Get there by coming up from the ground floor. You can destroy the obstruction on the ceiling by throwing a knife at it.
Zanj Uprising Sword Set #3It's in the central building of the Metal Factory, on the second floor. Get there by coming up from the ground floor.

Keys

Astronomical Library KeyThis key can be stolen from the scholar standing on the roof.
Four Markets Storage KeyYou can pickpocket this key from the citizen you find on the upper floor of the building located here.
Scholar's Estate Chest KeyYou will find the key on the upper floor of the building. The easiest way to get here is to use the rope spanned between this and the neighboring building.
Watermill Chest KeyThis key is required to open the Hidden One Dagger Set #1 gear chest.

Lost Books

Al-Kwarizmi: Al-JabrThe book is on the upper floor of the building. To enter the building smash the weak door on the first floor. Then move the bookshelf to get access the stairs to the upper floor.
Al-Sikkit: Diwan Abu Nu'asThe book is located inside the Palace of the Green Dome. It can only be acquired after completing the main quest: The Serpent's Nest.
Al-Tabari: Tafsir of al-TabariIn the cellars below the Nestorian Monastery. Enter the cellars by using the Nestorian Monastery Cellars secret entrance and solve the shelves moving puzzle.
Kalila wa-DimnaIt is in the same room as the historical site Kalila and Dimna.
Kitab al-AzifThe book lies under a pile of stones. The red jar that you will use to destroy the stones can be found on top of the ruins. This is the "secret" Lost Book, it's unmarked and doesn't count towards the region completion. Reward for handing over this book to the collector: Monstrous Talisman.
Suleiman al-Tajir: Accounts of China and IndiaThe book is located on the second floor of the building which is in a restricted area.
The Banu Musa: Book of Ingenious DevicesOn the upper floor of the building. To get inside you must throw a throwing dagger through one of the windows at the lock on the window on the other side.
