Athra Surges Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Points of interest
There are a total of 10 Athra Surges in the game. They are special abilities that can be offensive or defensive. Two of them can be equipped at once. To equip new Athra ability you must go to a Wak-Wak Tree.
You will acquire the first such skill already during the prologue. It will be the Verethragna's Smite - Level: 1. Description: Rush towards an enemy with apiercing strike that shatters all defenses. Can only be triggered from the ground.
Once you use every Athra Surge, you will unlock the "Warrior Within" achievement / trophy.
Athra is the sacred energy that burns in every living being. In battle, the greatest warriors can control their Athra, intensifyingits light to use exceptional abilities.
Sargon's attacks generate Athra, while taking damage dispels it. The build up of Athra is shown in a gauge at the bottom ofthe screen.
Once the gauge is full, Athra Surge become available. There are different ones that consume different amounts of Athra.

It drops from Alternate Sargon (Sacred Archives).
Level: 1. Description: Launch a powerful cross slash attack above Sargon. Very useful against flying enemies. Can be triggered from the ground or in the air.
Wind of Sistan▶ show the map ◀
Level: 1. Description: Create a swirling wave of Athra that cripples enemies. Very effective when Sargon is surrounded. The end of the move can be interrupted. Can only be triggered from the ground.
Vayu's Wave▶ show the map ◀
To get it complete the basic challenges at Artaban.
Level: 1. Description: Release a powerful, unfurling wave of Athra that pushes back the enemy. The end of the move can be interrupted. Can be triggered from the ground or in the air.
Bahman's Breath▶ show the map ◀
You will receive it from Kamil whom you will meet by the Hyrcanian Forest Tree #1.
Level: 2. Description: Create an explosion and a healing zone that gradually restores health. Nearby enemies are pushed back. Can only be triggered from the ground.
Arash's Ray▶ show the map ◀
Level: 2. Description: Fire a powerful beam that goes through enemies. Hold [Attack] or [Shoot] to aim accurately. Release to fire. Can be triggered from the ground or in the air.
Hadhayans' Might▶ show the map ◀
Level: 2. Description: Teleport over enemies to crush them to the ground from the heavens. Can only be triggered from the ground.
Soul of Gilgamesh▶ show the map ◀
Level: 3. Description: Channel Athra to become temporarily stronger and faster. Improve all moves to allow for new combos. Increase defense against melee damage. Can only be triggered from the ground.
Bahamut's Rage▶ show the map ◀
Level: 3. Description: Unleash a large and devastating whirlwind attack that throws light foes in the air and then smashes them violently to the ground. Very effective against large groups of enemies. Can only be triggered from the ground.
Rashnu's Judgment▶ show the map ◀
It will be here after you summon the Celestial Guardian - Venant.
Level: 3. Description: Ready a stance which allows for a remarkable counter-attack when timed just right. Very effective to parry and counter any attack, even unstoppable ones. Can only be triggered from the ground.
