Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission Investigate Remnant Derelict.
SAM scanned the drive core housing and was able to discern a unique signature. Suvi will use global planet scans to help us pinpoint the location of the stolen drive core so that we can get it back.

Go to the location marked on your map and scan the small container surrounded by bigger ones.
Go to the new navpoint. Scan the box (you must be very close to it, watch out for the fire), the examine the datapad. You can also scan the bodies (x7) lying around.
The last navpoint will lead you to the lab located in the cave in the Flophouse. Go inside, kill enemies and interface with the Remnant device.
You have to make a decision:
"Keep drive core. No outpost." - Choosing this option will block the possibility of creating an outpost.
or
"Give drive core. Get outpost."
