Kadara needs clean drinking water - streams and lakes are toxic and filled with sulfuric acid. Remnant technology could transform Kadara's water supply, but the monoliths around the planet must be activated to begin this process.
You will receive this mission automatically while exploring Kadara's surface and getting close to one of the monoliths.

After you activated three monoliths, a vault emerged.

The vault on Kadara is likely the key to starting the process that will heal the planet's environment. Explore the vault and determine a way to activate it.
Activate the first Remnant console (A).
You must activate three consoles located in the first room. Energy fields around consoles and dangerous and slowly kill you, but your shield should grant you enough time to get in and activate the console. Wait until the shield is renewed after activating each console.
When you activate all consoles, the door will open and you can move on.
The next Remnant console (B) controls the door to the room where the Rem-Tech is. With its help, you can also create a path to the next part of the vault. Use it to move forward, then use console (C) to create another passage.
Now it's good time to explore the vault (yellow path). There is a skill up console (+2 Skill Points) and Remnant data core hidden in the vault.
It is inside a locked room. To open the door you need to use the nearby terminals in the correct order (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6). Correct order is displayed on the door. You can use the scanner and follow "the yellow line".
The first terminal you should activate is shown on the picture below.
Now you can pick up the Remnant data core. You should also scan the whole room, there is a lot of Remnant Research Data here.
Another Remnant console (E) will grant you access to the part of the vault with skill up console locked by a Remnant decryption puzzle.
Another console (D) will open the door to the room with additional chest.
Don't forget to properly set console (B) so that you can take the Rem-Tech while you escape the vault.
Console (F) will grant you access to the final chamber with purification console. There you will find five more consoles with shields to activate. Each time you activate one of them, some Remnant bots will spawn.
Now you can start the purification process.
Follow the violet path, grab the Rem-Tech, run to the console (G) and activate it.
