Weeds

Brother Nicodemus asked me to weed his patch.

I'm supposed to pull up the nettles, thistles and dandelions, but not touch the medicinal herbs – mint and eyebright.

I’ve pulled up the weeds, I ought to go and see Brother Nicodemus for my reward.

Nicodemus was satisfied with my weeding his patch. I've earned a reward.

I didn’t do too well with the weeding. Nicodemus was quite annoyed.
