This collection includes every marker from the Outposts category of points of interest in Far Cry New Dawn, all placed on interactive maps created specifically for the game.
In total there are 10 outposts available in Far Cry: New Dawn. The outposts are a source of Ethanol which is used to upgrade your homebase.
You will get extra ethanol if you liberate the outpost without triggering an alarm or if you remain undetected. After the liberation of the outpost you can scavenge it to reset it, then higher level enemies retake the outpost and you can capture it again. Rank 3 is the maximum for each outpost but you can keep resetting it infinitely to farm more Ethanol. Liberated outposts can act as fast travel points.
There is a Weapon Workbench in every liberated outpost, and one of the three workshops available for summoning vehicles: Garage, Helipad, or Boatshed.
Hint: When the outposts are taken over, first destroy the alarms
If you are detected while the camp is being liberated, enemies will try to trigger an alarm and call for reinforcements. To prevent this, try to destroy all the alarm devices in the camp very quickly, preferably before detection. Look out for pylons with bright green light at the top, then just disarm or shoot and destroy the yellow box with the green light at the bottom. If you liberate the outpost without triggering an alarm then you will get extra ethanol.
