Tracking scents and finding clues will allow you to find your fourth puppy who will be kidnapped soon after the game starts (At the beginning of the third night).
Scents do not last forever, so it is recommended to follow them as soon as they appear. Because if you miss one of them, you will not be able to score any of the achievements related to scents, such as: Never Give Up (Find all traces of the missing cub in the river area.), Never Let Down (Find all traces of the missing cub in the forest.), Never Run Around (Find all traces of the missing cub near the dumping ground.), Family Reunion (Rescue the missing cub.), or Beyond Words (Let the Scavenger pet you.).
