This collection includes every marker from the Data Collectors category of points of interest in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, all placed on interactive maps created specifically for the game.
Data Collectors is one of the side activities available in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. When you find the first such location then the quest "System Reboot" will be added to your journal.
To complete the Data Collector you must first use SID to hack the terminal. This will activate 3 small probes located somewhere nearby, which you must find and also hack using SID. When you hack the last one you will receive Recon Retrieval Data.
Hints: Probes emit a sound when you are in proximity and they are much more visible when it is dark, as they emit a red light.
Once you complete all recon retrievals the achievement / trophy "Data Retriever" will be unlocked.
The index below enables quick navigation to the desired marker / point of interest.
Data H2G-2. Found under a boulder at Nomad's River in the Cascading Stones.
Data corrupted again. Possible sign of unobtainium or other unknown resources in the area which may compromise data collectors?
Data FR--/TR.M0. Found under a rock on the cliffside across the river northwest of The Perch.
Data suggests cyclical weather patterns which we may be able to match to migratory patterns for a greater understanding of wildlife in the region.
Data SPo93-SP|09. Found south of Resting Tree Lab at the River of Ancestors.
Data corrupted by likely RDA activity in the area. Frustrating. There is so much to understand about this amazing ecosystem here.
Data TA-Biosphere Sims. Found at a stone spire northeast of Daughter's Pool at the center of Mother of Rivers.
Weather pattern and seismic data changes are fascinating for the greater project of understanding the ecosystem of the Western Frontier. More work on creation of precise timestamps will help comparison of data sets in the future.
Data F-FV 0.2. Found on a cliff in the southern part of Mother of Rivers.
Still don't have enough information about how wildlife may interact with data collectors. Suggest greater protection of sensors in case of unexpected wildlife curiosity.
Data R/F U5. Found nested under a stone pillar northwest of Meadow Station.
Recordings suggest wildlife may have interfered with data collection. Aerial predator?
Data Ze-[DELTA]03. Found between three stone pillars in The Celebration Valley.
Searching for terrain data sources to compare to current Pandoran data collected. How similar are our worlds?
Data PF-94. Found under a log close to the cliff overlooking Stealth River.
Unidentified late night tremors - wildlife migration or active nocturnal behavior? Very exciting!
Data 140.60-9. Found between some rocks on small island in Spinner's Circle.
Suggest data collection from last six months be compared to the previous period to see impact of RDA presence on environment.
